Really stretching it with the name here, but thought I'd get the ball rolling since we have March all done! I guess we'll get the 0-12 Remotes and then... I have literally no idea what else!
April releases are already known: - Operation Kaldstrom - Dire Foes Mission Pack Alpha: Retaliation - ITS Season 11 Event Tournament Pack So your wishes will have to wait, at least, for May.
Err, sorry but that's Datacash, the last Dire Foes pack released. Dire Foes Alpha: Retalation is another new Dire Foes box, the second this year, and the contents are already unknown.
Adepticon is late March, if it matches previous Preorder/convention patterns then the Preorder window and previews will be from two weeks before the Con, with Preorders closing about a week after, with delivery around the 25th April.
O-12 vs Na2 would be a dream come true for me, as I would love a Brawler spec op... Not too far fetched as a couple of lists would benefit from it
Hate to break it to ya, but it's Yu Jing and PanO. With the respective forces likely double dutying as both White Banner / Svarlaheima forces as well as Vanilla forces thanks to Code One
And since Kaldstrom is released simultaneously with Code One, it's reasonable to assume that it's going to be tailored to whatever the limited roster for Vanilla PanO/Yu Jing is, instead of a flat out starter for Svalarheima/White Banner.
But how could you tailor Kallström so that it doesn't duplicate the already in production vanilla starters that will be split out from the multiplayer sets and also only use units Svalarheima and Huang Di? Kaldstraumur has been confirmed to be sectorial armies and while Bostria occasionally puts out wrong information, Kaldstrøm has been indicated otherwise in more than just passing. Plus, they seem to have been assigning people to fact check the information they dole out a lot more recently.
I suppose that depends on how they designed the sectorials and Operation: Kimmi Räikkönen in the first place. If they have to work with Code One (which I assume is the case), they must strike a balance between Vanilla and sectorial with a different sort of line trooper to not infringe on the Zhanshi and Fusiliers from the starters: Yu Jing: - Shaolin (pretty likely inclusion and unorthodox "line troopers". The sculpts are old and they fit into the snowy mountain theme. Staple units in vanilla with possible added utility in White Banner as fire teams, similar to Kuang Shi in ISS) - Daofei and Guilang (not sure about these. They need more sculpts and fit the theme, but this might clash too much with Beyond Red Veil. Staples in Vanilla.) PanO: - Nisse (not too sure, since we have decent sulpts for these guys already, but they are THE Svalarheima unit. Maybe a new CR + LSG model or new FTO loadout added) - Auxilia (usually Neoterran, but since NCA will be axed they might get transplanted into Sval. They also need new sculpts, could fill the "line tropper" slot and are a staple in Vanilla) - Hospitaller Knights (fit the theme but unlikely, since we have pretty much new sculpts for these with all loadouts covered. New FTO loadout possible?) This is, of course, in addition to the new units they are going to throw at us. Remotes are an option as well, with pretty much all of them needing a resculpt for both YJ and PanO and Bostria dropping the "Year of the remotes", for what it's worth. I admit, it's difficult to predict what it's going to be, which is why im all the more excited for this release.
