So I have reading list building posts and I have been wondering why a Securitate Core and Hollow Man Harris isn’t more popular in lists?

I get the Hollow Men have great stats and weapons. But I feel like they are too expensive as a core and would function well as a Harris.

    Am I Crazy?

no you are not, There is a thread around here somewhere (Tunguska beyond the classics) that covers essentially that style of build.

It’s totally doable, though I think the special with the Krizas is a bit too expensive and clunky to build around personally. But I do like the 2 hollowman with the stempler FTO option to keep things a little cheaper.

Here is a list I would run for most anything, but it does lack specialist variety so it probably wouldn’t do well for highly classified and countermeasures.

I did some net building a little bit ago built a list that i wouldn't feel bad about taking to a casual game. Probably doesn't play to Tunguska's strengths but I gets me 13 orders, which is something a lot of the more popular lists, I see are lacking. But that may be my Haqq experience coming out.

Unfortunately the Stempler is not valid in the HM Haris as the Stempler is only in the special core. The only thing possible would be a three-man core :(

This also eliminates a weak point in the team ;)

So I just threw this list together that sets the Securitate on their own in their own group to lt them act defensively but also give them the ability to move to button push in the Active turn .And with a Puppet Master in group 1, it will prevent losing orders if it goes first. I am building this as a 'take-on-all-comers' first list to minimize purchases. What do you all think?

@BlazyCrane you need something in your second combat group. You have essentially an immobile link that won’t be doing anything in it's active turn and when the sniper dies, you basically have a dead order pool, while the primary order fights for the rest of your orders.

Yeah i guess you are right. I feel very limited compared to building a list for Hassassins or Dahshat. Most of the list for Tungaska I see in this forum are single group 10 order lists that is something I don't like. I feel more comfortable with ~13-15 orders if i can manage it.

Well, I’ve had some success with “order spam” Tunguska in the past, but it’s very tough to pull off because you really can’t afford to lose pieces, however the Hecklers and Raol have been all stars for me. :)

I actually really like this list. Be warned that without smoke or an HMG it can get stopped cold by a strong ARO on a low-terrain-density table. If you can find a way to stick in a Zondnautica or Perseus and maybe swap out Mary Problems for a regular Interventor (for white noise unless Mary Problems already has it then nm) then you've basically got an answer in your toolbox for almost anything. Finding room for a Securitate HMG is another way to go, but you'll still run into ARO's you can't bully and can't line of sight block (linked Kamau Sniper).

EDIT: I forgot you already have an interventor in the grenzer link so nm on the white noise.
