Do you think something like this is workable? It's probably a bit weird, but these are the profiles I have available:

    PanOceania
    ──────────────────────────────────────────────────
    GROUP 1[IMG] [IMG] [IMG]9
JOAN OF ARC Lieutenant Spitfire, Nanopulser / Pistol, AP CCW. (1 | 51)
BOLT (Chain of Command) Combi Rifle + Light Shotgun, Drop Bears / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 27)
BOLT (Killer Hacking Device) Boarding Shotgun, E/Mauler / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 21)
NISSE MULTI Sniper Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 34)
    ZULU-COBRA (Sensor) Combi Rifle, Jammer / Assault Pistol, Knife. (0 | 29)
FUGAZI DRONBOT Flash Pulse, Sniffer / Electric Pulse. (0 | 8)
FUGAZI DRONBOT Flash Pulse, Sniffer / Electric Pulse. (0 | 8)
ECHO-BRAVO Paramedic (MediKit) Combi Rifle + Light Shotgun, WildParrot / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 27)
MULEBOT (Minesweeper, Repeater) Electric Pulse. (0 | 8)
    GROUP 2[IMG] [IMG] [IMG]2 [IMG]4
CROC MAN (Forward Observer, Deployable Repeater) Combi Rifle, Antipersonnel Mines / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 32)
    ECHO-BRAVO Boarding Shotgun, Light Rocket Launcher / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 25)
MONSTRUCKER Submachine Gun, Chain Rifle, Drop Bears / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 13)
TECH-BEE (Remote Assistant Level 1, Specialist Operative) Flash Pulse / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 5)
WARCOR (Sixth Sense L1) Flash Pulse / Stun Pistol, Knife. (0 | 3)
HELOT MILITIAMAN Submachine Gun, Light Rocket Launcher / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 9)
    4 SWC | 300 Points
    Open in Infinity Army

Not very heavy on SWC, but with a variety of tools and vectors to use:

    - Joan as speedy rambo backed up by CoC and Echo Bravo Paramedic in a pinch
    - Nisse for long range engagements
    - Two Echo Bravos to hit the flanks. Refillable Parrot (Mulebot).
    - Zulu Jammer to stop enemy warbands/rambos and sniff out camo with the help of Fugazis
    - Croc Men FO to place repeater, mines and be a general nuisance
    - Monstrucker + Tech Bee for WIP 14 engineering. Mobile specialist, Drop bears + Chain rifle with flexible attack vectors
    - Helot as a speedbump and distraction
    - Bolt KHD to enable REMs, kill hackers and place E\Mauler

I would trade the nisse's sniper for a hmg. You're leaning heavily on Joan to pull weight around the board. Because EBs have to walk on, you need to make sure that you can clear table sides for them. Your first group is essentially 8 orders and the best gun you have in your 2nd group is the croc combi. Going first or second will be painful.

Yeah, lacking the typical "PanO-punch" is something I was worried about as well. I haven't used the Echo Bravos very often yet, so It's hard for me to gauge their performance. Maybe I'm overestimating the impact of the LRL/BSG profle, but I had hoped to exert a lot of pressure with him.

Nisse HMG is a nice suggestion, but I really like the sniper sculpt - well, you can't have everything, I guess :)

How about the unit distribution? Do you think group 1 should be 10 orders to mitigate the effect of command token use?

Absolutely 10 orders in group 1. I would also consider swapping the croc for a Zulu Cobra. It gets you another order on the table and generally people dont like going near jammers. Doesnt even have to be the jammer profile either, make it a KHD and your opponent wont know until it's too late. This frees up the bolt to be something else if you would like too. You might be able to fiddle with points to get a kamau or bagh mari hmg if you want to keep your sniper.

Unfortunately Zulus are AVA 1 in Vanilla and I already have the Jammer.

If you're limited to about these troops, just roll with it (other than changing the Nisse to a HMG).

Couple things on this, since Joan V2 "mini Achilles" is one of my favourite things to do in Vanilla.
    1. If you go V2 don't go LT - go EXP CCW.
You don't want Joan to be agressive early on if she is your LT, period. The Coordinated Order 4 Regular Orders you're losing from that is not going to get compensated by having a CoC trooper available. For a passive Lt walking forward on a later turn ARM5, PH15 coordinating with her buddies for SF saves you the CoC to fit in something that can go forward early.
    2. Krakots.
Personally I prefer the double Chainrifle + Grenades + DA CCW, but the SMG one can be nice to set up coordinated SF. Either way they close a lot of gaps Vanilla has. DTWs, Forward Deployment to uncrowd the DZ and Speculative Fire to have the option, on top of Metachem for a lucky C+/Superjump roll to get some more mobility options. Also a free Impetuous Order a turn on top of their Regular Order and being a Veteran to smoke out or ignore Jammers. If you run them, run 2, and don't forget they're regular Impetuous and can cancel for free.
    3. Nisse HMG > MSR in Vanilla.
That is if you keep the Nisse and don't find the points to upgrade to an Aquila, Swiss Guard or Tikbalang.
    4. Bolt CoC & KHD.
CoC is neat for a TAG Lt but as mentioned Joan wants to hang back for a while. Points probably better spent towards 3 Fusiliers to secure your LT by having two bodydoubles. Bolt KHD is nice and I love what it does for a Link. But with 4-2 speed no ability to enter SF and very low range altogether I'd scratch it for a Fusilier Hacker or Hexa KHD to unlock REMs.
    5. Echo Bravo.
Goes to group 2, whatever you'll have spending Orders in Group 1 it will spend them better than the backup piece fueled by group 2.
    6. Croc FO.
AD Specialist + TO Specialist + ZC Sensor + Joan is a lot of points in expensive but passive troops. Combi Rifles bounce off hard targets and even a Nisse HMG can make you feel very under gunned vs Linked ARO troops (i.e. the classic Kamau Sniper). Go Echo Bravo Red Fury, Zulu Cobra Spitfire or scratch the Croc to upgrade the Nisse to a Guard HMG. Adding some PanO BS15 punch is going to be important.
    7. Monstrucker.
A Doctor would have more synergy with most Vanilla lists, unless you can somehow fit a TAG and a Sierra/Bulleteer.

I completely overlooked that lol. Maybe trade out for a krakot red fury and another body to get some more oomph out of group 2.

remember that after her first kill Joan cant use cover any more (frenezy)..... dont put all your hopes and dreams there, the enemy will send ALL his list against a low arm Joan that cant get cover in his side of the table

Thanks for your input, everyone! That's a lot of stuff to consider.

Joan should still get cover in the first enemy turn after she kills someone, right? Only in her next active turn she becomes impetuous, iirc.
Anyway, the rough idea was to have Joan poke out, net a few kills and then retreat her back into relative safety behind whatever Jammer, Helot, Flash Pulses, Mines, Drop Bears, E/Mauler etc. I can put in place, to make the enemy waste orders trying to get to her.

After a bit of fiddling around, this is what I've come up with:

    PanOceania
    ──────────────────────────────────────────────────

    GROUP 1[IMG] [IMG] [IMG]10
JOAN OF ARC Lieutenant Spitfire, Nanopulser / Pistol, AP CCW. (1 | 51)
    NISSE HMG / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 34)
    ZULU-COBRA (Sensor) Combi Rifle, Jammer / Assault Pistol, Knife. (0 | 29)
FUSILIER Hacker (Hacking Device) Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 18)
CROC MAN MULTI Sniper Rifle, Antipersonnel Mines / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 38)
    AUXILIA (Forward Observer) Combi Rifle + AUXBOT_1 / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 15)
    [IMG] AUXBOT_1 Heavy Flamethrower / Electric Pulse. (- | 4)
FUGAZI DRONBOT Flash Pulse, Sniffer / Electric Pulse. (0 | 8)
FUGAZI DRONBOT Flash Pulse, Sniffer / Electric Pulse. (0 | 8)
MULEBOT (Minesweeper, Repeater) Electric Pulse. (0 | 8)
MULEBOT (Minesweeper, Repeater) Electric Pulse. (0 | 8)

    GROUP 2[IMG] [IMG] [IMG]2 [IMG]4
    ECHO-BRAVO Boarding Shotgun, Light Rocket Launcher / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 25)
ECHO-BRAVO Paramedic (MediKit) Combi Rifle + Light Shotgun, WildParrot / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 27)
HELOT MILITIAMAN Submachine Gun, Light Rocket Launcher / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 9)
MONSTRUCKER Submachine Gun, Chain Rifle, Drop Bears / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 13)
TECH-BEE (Remote Assistant Level 1, Specialist Operative) Flash Pulse / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 5)
WARCOR (Sixth Sense L1) Flash Pulse / Stun Pistol, Knife. (0 | 3)

    6 SWC | 299 Points

    Open in Infinity Army

    - Bolts are out, Fusilier Hacker is in
    - Nisse HMG instead of MSR
    - Croc Man MSR instead of FO
    - Auxilia FO to compensate and bring another tool with the Auxbot

Now with the Nisse HMG and the Croc Man MSR there should be a good bit more punch in the list. I've always wanted to try the TO Infiltrator Sniper archetype, but I couldn't justify the cost of the Ninja in my YJ, so this is the time.

No CoC anymore, so I have to be even more careful with Joan. A big part of my gameplan will be clearing the way for her to go on a relatively safe killing run. I'm relying heavily on the Nisse and the Croc Man to pull their weight, with the Echos being the aces up my sleeve to accomplish that.

Between the 4 Flash pulses, the Jammer, the Auxbot and the Helot, my defense game should be decent as well. Let's hope for the best.

Can save a lot of points by going for a Hexa MSR instead of the Croc. Infiltration can be nice for the MSR but so is 6 extra points.
Upgrades one of those Mulebots to a Krakot or something along those lines.

Would still still recommend swapping the Monstrucker for a Trauma Doc. You have nothing of importance to repair. And even if you can remove Isolation from Joan she won't be the Lt anymore.

2 AD troops in a rather small group 2 is also a bit of a headscratcher.

Thanks for your reply! Here's my reasoning behind all this nonsense:

Hexa MSR is the cheaper variant, but I like the idea of placing mines in the midfield and shooting people in the back out of Hidden Deployment. I read about how @Daemon of Razgriz's Ninja/Tiger MSR worked in theory, so the Croc will by my attempt in replicating this.

The Monstrucker is there to keep Joan going in the active turn. She is unlikely to outright die or go unconscious with W2 and NWI, but one unlucky hit/crit from an E/M, Jammer, adhesive etc. ARO can stop her in her tracks, leaving her open for certain death on my opponents turn. I need to be able to blow through a lot of orders taking heads and then retreat her back into relative safety. Monstrucker is the best tool to facilitate that, I believe. He also synergizes nicely with the Tech Bee, can defend competently with his chain rifle and Drop bears or go into suppressive fire as part of a coordinated order. All that for 13 points is great value in my mind, but it might turn out to be wrong or too situational eventually. Trauma Docs I don't feel comfortable with due to their low WIP and lack of utility, but I can always give them a try if I feel I need a Doctor badly.

The two Echos in CG 2 are a bit of a mess, admittedly, but that's one of the quirks I am committed to. If Joan lives, that's still a max. of 5 orders to go through for whatever Echo needs to enter the board on turn one. In later turns, I can always swap them around to CG 1 if needed. Something will have died at that point and, thanks to and Joans "free" coordinated orders, I will most likely have a couple of Command Tokens left to do this.

I could swap one of them around with the Croc Man from CG1, but I cannot quite gauge how many orders that guy will need on average, since I've never played that kind of unit before, but I assumed that re-camoing, placing mines and shooting things is generally more order intensive than a push with the Echo. Having an Echo and the Croc Man in CG 1 from the start would put me at 8 (7) orders in CG 1 if I go first, which is a tad low.
