I really like the subtle variations in buildings and their paint schemes. It makes it look like a real city that has been built over time. With Changing expectations/different construction teams etc. Makes it look and feel very alive. Great work :)

Psst! Talent is mostly just time spent learning a skill. Its still an impressive project but its somewhere you can get yourself too as well :)

Cheers and thanks for the comments guys.:+1:

I agree that skill is something you have to master yourself. I took me around a year to learn how to use airbrush to my current level and believe me it was a bumpy road at the beginning. Still in case of terrains that are large and easy to paint (comparing to miniatures), I wouldn't say painting skill is the most important thing. Making a terrain piece means I spend like 3/4 of the time using masking tape, a hobby knife and some mascol, preparing each section for painting, so I'd say patience is more crucial

And if anything the fact that you have to master a skill makes the fact that you master it that much more impressive. If you just magically have an understanding from birth thats neat. If you put in effort and learned something that's something everyone should respect. Even if some of its just skill with masking off your project :P

When I think about futuristic cities and some classical movies like Blade runner or Ghost in the shell, some sort of geishas are a must. I decided to upgrade my gaming board with one as well.

I started this project over a year ago. Today I was finally able to finish the geisha bust. The plan is to place her on a top of specially designed holo add stand but because of corona virus outbreak I won't be able to order the pillar or tea house lenticular prints for a while. For now I used an earlier made stand as a placeholder, as the project is postponed but hope, I'll be able to finish it properly one day.

    Cheers.

Cheers guys, I'm glad you like it.

I started working on my next project - a Combat Buzz aircraft from Human interface. Maybe not the best line of sight blocking piece but I'm quite fond of the design of that airship.

Nice aircraft. That fused feeding belt for the gatling is pretty awful, however. Will you change that, or looks to difficult for a fix?

@Biomckill The belt and resin filling is supporting front landing gear so it could be removed but I would have to remodel that section. I'm think I just leave it as it is.

Absolutely beautiful. Would be a dream to play on such a gorgeous table one day. Although then my poorly painted miniatures would stand out as a sore thumb.

I think now I'm confident enough to start working on big boy Azure Dragon. Anyone got a suggestion about suitable scifi pilots (resin or printable)?

Ah nice. I really like that flyer but sadly it's limited. Good job on the paint scheme!

    Great work as always!

As for the pilot figure I understand you’ve checked thingiverse and myminifactory already, but you may also consider pilots from Chicharra kickstarter, they have some interesting poses, although would probably need some scaling to fit your flyer’s cockpit.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions.

@LeeroyVinland Someone on fb suggested that it might be possible to get that flayer if you contact producer directly. I have no idea if that is true but it might be worth a try.

@Shingen I did search models on thingsgiverse but I did not found anything suitable.

Those KS pilots look quite good, I must admit. The helmets are a bit meh but that's something I can improve :)
