Dahshat Supplies Help

    I’m going to be playing Supplies with Dahshat and I’m reasonably sure I’m going to be going up against Bakunin. My friend is trying to decide on what he’s playing for a tournament coming up.

    I know that Kum are probably a no-brainer. I’m also going to use a Lu Duan and may holo him as 3 Kum if i go second. Maybe even first if i set up first so he will have a hard time countering me.

    The reason I have Miranda in there is because I just painted her! :) I feel I need to field her and I feel a great way to make the most use of her ODD is in a 5 man link. I’ve found (going against) any ODD in a link is really good. She can have up +6 with her comb and anyone else -9 if she’s in cover. Not horrible. The Lt. HMG is not really for shooting. mostly for covering the back from anything.

    Are you sure you can Holo as 3 bikes? I thought you either Holo as 3 Lu Duans or Holo as one other model. Anyhow, would Saito be overkill? You can smoke midfield and probably hunt down his guys if you go second.

    Yes, it looks like you can. But you have to place the Holoecho marker next to one of them when you activate them apparently.

    You might want to flip some of your orders around, in supplies if you go first and get the boxes you can run away, best case scenario, is you setup first and go first, dropping 2 Hunzakuts and all your libertos as close to the middle as you can.

    Right now your Hunzakuts can get at Most 2 orders, -- their irregular and one regular, if they fail their Wip check, -- then you're down to a single regular order.

    I'd move them to the first group at least, maybe slide 2 regulars to group 2 in case you wanna do more with Kum or Libertos, again they have some awesome options, but you want that flexibility to be like oh man I could use 2 more orders to do X or Y.

    The Hunzakuts can get in, makea few wip rolls, loot at least 2 coffins, and then mine around corners, you have a fairly strong defensive position with the libertos and missiles.

    My plan for the Hunz, with the Liberto is to use a command token to drop mines everywhere. There will already be 2 out from the Libertos too. In order to do it they need to be in the same group. But i’ll still need orders to do any hand off’s to the Kum. I’m going to stick with that. Also three Kum and the Lu Duane.

    I took out the doctor because I doubt he will be useful for this mission. So I’ve taken a Rafiq and will duo with a ABH. Just to have some order efficiency. The Rafiq is good for it’s speed and specialist too.

    Group 1
    I kept finding myself with 7pts left over I couldn’t use so I “upgrade” the Ghulam to Brawlers.
    The now Brawler team is there to be defensive and try to see the supply boxes and shoot anyone getting close. They are mainly meant to feed the Hunz and Liberto orders.

    Group 2
    I think Gromoz is only there to buff the remotes for the most part and doesn’t need many orders. herself.

    I put MrMurder in with the Kum since they all have Impetuous and Irregular. This

    I like that a lot better!! I took lov the 4 minelayer combined order, it's like awesome to just throw out 12 mines before your opponent gets a turn.

    having your hunzakuts be able to spend extra orders is going to greatly help you if you get to go first, and those kum bikers are gonna have extras to chase down enemy box carriers! good luck on your game!

    Well it didn't go well. He actually used Ramah instead, I did get first turn and even got one of the boxes all the way back to deployment with combo-Hunz and Kum but due to having so many Irregular orders I just couldn't do much else. I held back McMurough because he was facing down a Muktar haris with MSV red fury, and one with Viral. When I did let him go a turn later the inevitable happened and he was destroyed! He wreaked my fireteam with his mixed team of Kwharajis Heavy rocket and spitfire. Just not good. And I don't care what supporters say, it's demoralizing and un-fun for those guys to get a 1 and crit when you beat that 1!
