Dude's rocking in an advanced Lhost? Just like some Aleph profiles? O-12 generally seems to mix PanO shooting supremacy with Aleph durability themes.

But further on, hes a solid profile. Not something I'd be overly excited to have in my particular playstyles. The short range weaponry can be a bit limiting and his price is painful for a model you must use to attack with.

*shrug* yeah that would have been nice. I haven't really figured out an IA list where i'd fit drop troops in though. I mainly don't like drop troops in limited insertion though.

Advanced Lhosts didn't used to have Shock Immunity; that's a weakness of Devas.

It's unclear if Yadus get Shock Immunity from their host or their armor. Since Devas are supposed to be a higher "tier" of lhost and don't have it, I'd suggest the latter. We don't even know if Cuervo's resurrected; seems unlikely with his lack of Cube 2.0.

You don't need cube 2.0 to have been resurrected, look at Angus!

Honestly, for all we know has a custom Lhost created for him by a lovely biotechnologist he once rescued from indentured servitude in a Praxis black lab. I imagine Basilisk level Deltas live pretty interesting lives.

Angus hasn't been resurrected; he's been repaired cybernetically.

Well, being a seasoned, Basilisk level Delta seems like one, so...

There might be different tiers of Lhost, and nothing suggest Deva's have the best Lhosts either.

This is turning into a massive divergence though so i'm going to tap out as its clear hecaton can't back up most of his claims here or in the other thread.

If you could disprove what I was saying, you would. Cuervo isn't resurrected, so it's a moot point anyway.

Just throwing this out there: what if Krit and the Hulang gained Veteran L1? Also Hyperdynamics 1-2 on the Crane, anyone?

It's a fact that NWI+Shock Immunity (or other immunity) profiles are entering the game with more frequency, and they are disproportionately on characters, including characters who are either self-inserts or rpg characters of people at CB.

Krit just needs a re-write. Vet on hulangs or cranes would be nice. But dunno about the associated cost increase. And thats the thing, for any of these suggestions, we'd need to see HI get a little cheaper.

Honestly with the exception of hulang and guijia. I think Yu Jing would gain massively from a tweak of hackable and heavies the most.
Regardless of what that was... be it getting a discount, or being buffable.

Cranes I wish just had x-visor and sensor on all profiles. Why hackers can't also have x-visors is beyond me.

I can't figure out what the hell the LX was designed to do.

If it's supposed to drop in and raise hell, it has a hideous vulnerability added that a basic Tiger does not in the form of hacking. It's 7pts more expensive than a Tiger for -Mimetism, -1WIP, +1ARM, +3BTS, +NWI+Bioimmunity. OK, and the 'goomba stomp' Explode LX, which is painfully situational but entertaining if you can make it work.

LIÚ XĪNG Spitfire / Pistol, CC Weapon. (2 | 39)
    TIGER SOLDIER Spitfire / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 32)

You want my minimal-effort 'fix' for the Liu Xing? Give it Tinbot B/Deflector L2, so anyone trying to hack it is eating a -6WIP.

Its a flexible heavy infantry specialist drop troop made for opportunistic plays. I don't think the spitfire does bring anything better than a tiger who is optimised for shooting and not moving a lot.

Classic defensive perimeters involve template weapons, mines and expendable units. All of which totally ruin a tiger attack. But a liu xing can easily punch through and create a weakness in the lines to exploit. But hackers are new defensive tool, one which a tiger ignores, this creates a duality in vanilla yu jing that I love.
I don't know what they were thinking in IA, I think they went too hard on the heavy infantry theme.

Sometimes theres an opening for an explode drop hail mary, and it can be devastating or a total flop. Its probably why I like the multi the best, as a dispersed drop still often leaves you with a midfield specialist.
Its best not to think of explode as something you always use. Its a skill of opportunity. Having 2 wounds also opens up plays like leaving cover to remove cover from the enemy - which provides more decisive FtF rolls adding to the Liu order efficiency when clearing back lines.
This is a move you should never do with a tiger, as the risk of taking that unlucky wound and ending your attack is too high.

it is more common knowledge that no one takes AHDs and every non marker hacker is in danger of being brainfried
at the same time SOMEHOW there is a non-stop hacking terror for hackable units if this forum is to be believed

    so what is it?
