With the new spec ops rules Haqq and PanO can squeeze Jammers into fireteams, I'm fairly sure they'd benefit from the five man bonus, being a bs attack with WIP, but I am unsure about the burst bonus, thoughts?
A Jammer is not a BS Attack, it is a Comms Attack. So no, Jammer doesn't benefit from a +3 or Burst Bonus. Scratch that, a Jammers is a BS weapon after all
The user of a Jammer can declare a BS Attack using his WIP Attribute against a target within his ZoC. However, this weapon does not require LoF to the target. so despite this then.
Nope you were right, Jammers are BS weapons. So you get the full +3 WIP B2 bullshit for them in a Core Link. Ouch.
This is why i wasn't sure, they are a bs attack using WIP with a technical weapon, so to my understanding they benefit from the +3 but not +1 Burst.
Jammers are BS Weapons, they are not skills like Forward Observer, so the Burst bonus should still apply as long as you don't do an Intuitive Attack with it. Technical weapons and thrown weapons still get the burst bonus.
Jammers with 6th Sense? So they can delay ARO and prevent the active model from Resetting or am I missing something?
Haqqislam also has hafza spec-ops and holoprojector as an option for muyibs/ghulam, so you can disguise your wip 15 jammer as a random link member and wait for your opponent to spring the trap.
Ok, This seems even more complicated, stupid and just straithgt retarded. From the HSN3 pdfs: So that the wording is like the Forward Observe which doesnt get a link bonuses. Sooo what the heck Jammer is ? @ijw @inane.imp
You've zoomed in too much and you're missing context and weapon profile. Look at the weapon next to it. Forward Observer comes with its own skill, Jammer does not, but instead directs you to use a BS Attack with this weapon.
It’s on the ‘Types of Weapon ' page whereas FO is not. http://wiki.infinitythegame.com/en/Types_of_Weapons
