INFINITY JSA: Tachikoma (Proxy Yaopu Pangguling) This little guy is so cute! A little too small for 28mm scale but perfect for a proxy infinity S4 baggage bot REM. This guy will stand in for my JSA Yaopu Pangguling as I'm not a huge fan of the studio model, but a massive GITS SAC fan. Batou been feeding him natural oil... Tachikoma: So, will we be sent back to lab too? Batou: Wha...? Who's been telling you that? Tachikoma: Well, it's just that the way the Major's been looking at us lately is kinda scary. Batou: Oh, is that all? The major's always scary, remember? I think you guys are doing a fine job. Tachikoma: You really think so? Batou: What, you're still worried about that? Tachikoma: Yeah... It just seems like the Major is angry about what we've acquired recently. Batou: "Acquired"? Acquired what? Tachikoma: Well, it's ... Individuality. Batou: Individuality? I see you found one of those Jigabachi helicopter kits! If you find 2 you can cover all the basic REMs and make a pair of Arise Logikomas.
As section 9 says these are from the Jigabachi chopper set. Thanks Section 9 for the heads up on these models (you are fountain of knowledge)! I only really plan to make one more Tachikoma for my JSA, when I get a chance. I only really need/want 2 REMS for each class. I have to Yaokongs already. For my big gun bots I want to use the new Aleph Rudras, when they become avaialable separately (odd choice to include one in combined set imho).
INFINITY JSA: Tachikoma 2 (Proxy Yaopu Pangguling) Finally got this little guy finished for Motoko. These tachikoma models come from the Jigabachi AV helicopter kit made by Kotobukiya. The scale of the kit is 1/75 so it is a little small to properly match 28mm miniature scale 1/58. However this doesn't matter too much since the models still look cool alongside each other. The new packaged version of the kit has 3 Tachikomas in it (the old version only had 1), which make these individual models the priciest I've paid for in my JSA army! Not to matter as it was worth it for the sake of art lol! Blue Tachikoma: Oh God...we're weak and powerless...My fellow Tachikomas and I. Mokoto: That's not true. What you and the others have gained makes you far from powerless. Tachikoma Days! More pics: https://archangelelonginfinitythegame.blogspot.com/2019/03/infinity-jsa-tachikoma-2-proxy-yaopu.html
INFINITY JSA: Karakuri Project JSA had to reprogram some pleasure gynoids due to attrition from the uprising... so my fluff goes... Scary and sexy killer robots - What's not to like! I was never a fan of the studio models as they just don't seem creepy or sexy enough for what they are supposed to be. Being a GITS fan I wanted to pay homage to the creepy dolls in Innocence as well as the Geishas in the Live Action Movie with their soulless faces. I converted the models using Hong Kong Killer Fembots by Statuesque Miniatures, heads from Hanako by Hasslefree Miniatures, and guns from the Infinity range, plus a bit of greenstuff for good measure. Very happy that this long gestating plan finally came into fruition. Shout out to Section9 for the helpful advice on minis to use for such a project! You really are a bastion of knowledge sir! Spoiler: Karakuri (Heavy Shotgun) Spoiler: Karakuri (Combi Rifle) Spoiler: Karakuri (Mk 12) Karakuri WIP
Excellent conversion! The reduced color scheme works quite well and underlines the soullessness of the bots
Glad you found a fun idea and ran with it! Anything that increases someone's fun while building/playing is good.
Thanks. I was hoping for a creepy manakin/doll come to life kinda vibe (just like the ones Batou battles aboard the Locus Solus ship in Innocence) Thanks for pointing me in some good directions that helped me get the project done ;-)
INFINITY JSA: Japanese Secessionist Army On Parade Very happy to see units side by side and various colour palettes merging as a whole. My entry into the world of Infinity has been great so far and I'm very proud of my JSA force. If only I had more time to play games! Any ways wonder what force is next on the horizon?... Ninjas Ryukan Unit 9 Cyber Samurai Heavy Infantry Royal Guard alongside Ronin Heroes and Rogues Motorpool Master and Mistress of speed Cute and Creepy robots Heavy Hitters protect their VIP TAG = Giant Robot Samurai Deadly and Sexy ladies Light Infantry supporting the Troublemakers Speed demons Group shot 2 (Who is that waiting in the wings?)
INFINITY JSA: Miyamoto Mushashi Aristeia Version Got my hands on the metal Aristeia version of Miyamoto Mushashi (Musashi). Painted him in honour of the original colour scheme. I added cherry blossoms to denote Spring, as one of the four seasons of Musashi theme I'm playing with. Now if only Corvus Belli would release another version of this guy, I could do the winter version lol! Just can't bring myself to paint the original mini as the quality and scale doesn't stack up with the new models, so I may be waiting a while to finish this project... MIYAMOTO MUSASHI (Spring Night) 3 Seasons of Mushashi
As I suggested elsewhere, you could use Yojimbo as your 4th 'Musashi'. Toshiro Mifune played Musashi and the titular 'Yojimbo' in the movies, after all, and the Yojimbo sculpt looks like him!
D Definitely an option, however I have a feeling that we will get another resculpt in time as corvus Belli seem to love sculpting this guy.
Your stuff is so nice and crisp. I'm super jealous of you black -> grey highlighting. I can never get that right.
Entirely possible. I still think the original Musashi from 2006 looks fine, but I'm not going to insist you chase one down and paint it. You certainly cannot have mine!
