For four days I was looking for my beloved KHD in Mobile Army until I realised: "Oh [insert deity here], my fellow Mercs forgot to bring their KHD to Dahshat!"

What profile should get a KHD option? Valerya Gromoz? Zhencha? What is your opinion? Do we even need it?

We can go REM heavy, therefore a KHD would be good.

Perhaps that's the weakness built into this army.
A Barid hacker or wardriver which have only a KHD loadout available would be grate.
    Or a Brawler with Rifle/LSG

    It's called Burst 5, BS 15, MM2, MSV2 spitfire.
Kills hackers well dead, although in a more direct way.

Also a Remote that can be protected by the Tinbot B!

I'm not surprised by not having a KHD in Dahshat. We only have 4 Hackers. I might actually use the Zhencha AHD.

I think the lack of a khd is an intentional weakness. With the potential high volume of remotes creating a wide repeater net, dahshat can be vulnerable to a good killer hacker.

The best way to counter it as near as I can tell is a zhuyong core with a tinbot and then throw Gromoz and/or an ABH hacker into the link.

Imagine if dahshat had gotten a wildcard khd with all of the tools they have. It’d be ridiculous. The Haidao khd in a team with a tinbot zhuyong is already stupid good.

I agree. They already got a lot of great stuff (TacAware HMG). I can live with the lack of hackers. We also don't have that many HI to defend.

Oops. Mixed it up with the brawlers, which aren’t wildcard. So...yup

Hunt repeaters and hackers with libertos, hunzakuts, Mc Murrough or whatever you want as long as it's no hackable. A less risky but more order intensive solution is to deploy your own repeaters with valerya or your hunzakuts and disable your opponent's one with Blackout.

Note that valerya in a fireteam with a Tinbot-B has really good odds with brain blast against assault hackers, and it gets even better if you hack them through your own repeaters to have the firewall.

If Dahshat had a good killer hacker then they'd be pretty mental as they already have a pretty incredible array of options.

It does make me definitely think twice about running hackable troops, assault HDs and so on in Dahshat though. I think I'll be relying more on deflectors and the like to protect Zuyongs. Although probably Valyria can beat a lot of KHDs on her active turn when she's paired with that Zuyong Deflector L2...
