Fatality crits on a result of 1

BS21 increases the result of roll by 1

So the minimum result for BS21 is 2?

My interpretation is yes, because fatality specifically cites the "result" instead of the roll, which leads me to believe that it only cares about the final number. An exception being below one

I'd be interested to see other points of view and a possible definitive answer. I hope Sheskin isn't as scary as she looks

Attributes over 20 change the result of the die:

In other cases, accumulating positive MODs can cause the final value of an Attribute to rise above 20. In this case, consider the final value of the Attribute to be 20, but with the peculiarity that the player adds to his result on the die the amount by which the Attribute exceeded 20 (an Attribute of 23 would add 3 to the die).

My emphasis. So either she's getting extra crit chances by adding to the result, or she's getting extra crit chances by rolling a 1.

@toadchild does the dice calculator take into account this interaction? or does a character that can't actually "end up" rolling a 1 still crit on that roll?

I honestly don’t recall; I’ll have to double check the code. I’m going to be pretty busy with updates to both the dice calc and Mayanet, so please be patient!

Seems to work correct. BS21 troops aren't rolling 1s in the calculator.

    Checked gainst Fusilier Combi
Fusilier Crit chance goes down by around 40%.
Remaining discrepancy is 5 low rolls vs a Fusilier high roll.
If BS21 would still crit on 1s the Fusilier should be below 2.5% Crit chance.

Spanish version of FAT2 states a roll of 1 in the dice, not a result of 1 in the BS roll.

So use spanish rules and Sheskin, RAW, crits on 1, 19 and 20.

If there is no discrepancy between spanish and english rules on attributes over 20, sheskiin only crits on 19 and 20, because

Sorry, but... the source you check is precisely IJW, while I'm sourcing Corvus Belli's rules. He says "it is like this because I say the rules I translated are the most recent", however he admitted in the past that the rules CB gave him were, in fact, a version that was not the definitive one (I'm talking about the core book N3/Human Sphere N3, in which, according to him, CB gave him the "source version" or something to that effect, to translate, and then CB made changes on the Spanish version before release).

I, however, suggest you to read https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threads/fatality-2-with-b5.27734/page-5#post-232356 and have this sources in mind:
    Spanish fatality lv2: http://wiki.infinitythegame.com/es/Fatalidad
    English fataliity: http://infinitythewiki.com/en/Fatality
    Spanish attributes over 20: http://infinitythewiki.com/es/Críticos
    English attributes over 20: http://infinitythewiki.com/en/Attributes_Below_1

The attributes over 20 page are similar in english and spanish. The difference is that Fatality L2 in english checks the BS (or melee) Roll (1d20+1 in Sheskin's case), while the Spanish version checks the DICE ROLL, which is a number before adding the modifiers (1d20, always).

Yes, just verified it in the code. I check if the value of the roll is one after applying the boost for stats in excess of 20.
