Total Immunity is getting some kind of update. No idea what yet. https://www.infinitythegame.com/blo...QngOPWNoqEKijBJyLvk8ah9dNjOKMy-RIOSdqEtVnBIZc
This is what the hint says: "Total Immunity: This Special Skill has been redefined to better fit its name, removing exceptions and interactions." But @Triumph is correct in wondering what that will actually mean.
Not gonna lie, while it's neat for sun tze, dog warriors immune to viral and stun ammo will be a pain in the ass.
I mean we don't know what the changes are yet. For all we know it could be that Plasma is no longer standard ammo and is back to exotic.
I mean, Total Immunity is fine and all BUT DO YOU SEE THAT SYMBIOMATE NERF? By jove that bit caught me by surprise.
From the description I gathered they were doing away with the Exotic/Normal categories and instead using the Vulnerability skill for exceptions.
I know it's supposed to make me feel better, and I do agree that it's a nerf... But it bassically does the same as before. Beign Obligatory is nice, but granting the guy Total Immunity is just lame. "It's interactive now! You have to roll saves!"... IDK.
Yes! Now I can actually, possibly, hurt something with it. It's not that bad of Nerf and really was needed. Before a guy could eat like 10 wounds! Now it at least needs to make at least one save vs. each hit. I think it's just going to be clarification of what's subject to TI and what isn't.
Well it still counts as having to actually do something to trigger it's effect, so... still a yay in my book. That and it now at least has a meager chance of not saying ,,Yeah, all those surprise shot Hac Tao HMG shots didn't do anything.''
Spoiler: Before Active Player 58.55% Hac Tao does nothing (Symbiomate disabled) 14.29% Hac Tao inflicts 1 or more wounds on Sukuel (Symbiont Disabled) 1.29% Hac Tao inflicts 2 or more wounds on Sukuel (Unconscious) 0.05% Hac Tao inflicts 3 or more wounds on Sukuel (Dead) Failures 19.88% Neither player succeeds Reactive Player 5.94% Sukuel Dodges Hac Tao Spoiler: After Active Player 42.04% Hac Tao inflicts 1 or more wounds on Sukuel (Symbiont & symbiomate Disabled) 8.87% Hac Tao inflicts 2 or more wounds on Sukuel (Unconscious) 0.90% Hac Tao inflicts 3 or more wounds on Sukuel (Dead) Failures 52.02% Neither player succeeds Reactive Player 5.94% Sukuel Dodges Hac Tao That's a pretty significant nerf.
How ? dodge stays the same ok. Neither player succeeds stays the same ... ? (if you mean both player fail the target number, fine, stays the same) Chance for the hac tao to do nothing drops from 26% to 0% ? really ? So with +9 ARM it is impossible for the Sukuel to pass an ARM save ?
i might misread*. even if ARM = 9 , that means ARM is +7 better than before, yet his percent chance to not taking 1 W stays the same somehow ? *give Total Imm, ARM 9 and BTS 9, i read gives 9 ARM therefore read it as +Total Imm, +9ARM, +9BTS. But it might equally means giving in that its sets the ARM/BTS value to 9 and sets the "Has Total Imm" to True. edit again, probably ARM9 BTS9, but for the sake of Ectros (3/6), Neema (3/9), and Gorgos (7/9), i'd rather they be +9. As the new symbiom is already quite a nerf, having to roll rather than auto-passing all saves.
Good point. Updated. Had to tally the "before" manually... Basically I forgot that to also count a hit as removing the Symbiomate, since succeeding the save at that point is pointless.
Yeah, I'm expecting them to get at least Vulnerability: Viral. Yeah, that's a good improvement to gameplay.
My guess is that most Total Immunity units will get Vulnerabilities to what they are vulnerable now (so, what counts as Exotic ammo atm), and that entire TI update is geared to accommodate new Symbiomates. Some exceptions are possible, ofc.
I'm hoping that they forget to apply this to Sun Tze just like they forgot to buff the fucking Guijia.
