Okay! As the title suggests. I'm the only TAK player in my Meta, the other Ariadna player focuses almost strictly on USAriadna. Assault packs, how do they work? Do they, and the Controller act as an individual unit despite generating two separate orders? Second question. The most common form of Isolation in my group is everyone's favorite Mutts. If a Mutt, either in ARO or Active turn rolls to isolate an antipode in the assault pack....what happens? I've asked Facebook and the answer I recieved was: You glitch the matrix and Bostria comes out and strangles you.
The Controller generates her order. The Pack generates its own order(s), irregular and eventually impetuous due to Frenzy. They are not activated at the same time, they are two distinct entities. For the isolation glitch, i think it should be treated as per Isolation rules (ie. no use of orders from the pool for that particular model) but it is not stated anywhere. The only caveat to grasp is the Spearhead mention. Since it works as a Fireteam of sort, the Isolated model should not be able to activate. But again, it is not stated anywhere... So watch out for Strangling Bostria...
I've tried arguing that in my meta. All my Ariadna playing friends assure me that Isolated has no effect on Assault Packs. I can't convince them that they're wrong. OTOH if you Isolate a G-Sync / G-Servant it also has not effect. So... *shrugs*
The question was debated in the rules forum and ended up in the unsolved question list (https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threads/unsolved-question-list.26932/). Still waiting for CB to answer it
