Probably not. One of those troops will need the Duo skill. The requirement for Duo is that it's a valid combination (it is) and that one of the members of the Duo has the Fireteam: Duo skill (neither do right now).
Massacre, Lupe and Daktari seems likely to be a valid Haris tho, and a nice one too. Just leave Massacre behind or get him killed (not as the link leader) to get your duo ;)
I fail to see the added value in this Haris for Lupe. 0 swc Panzer on BS12 instead of 11? Mimetism for a group that smokes/eclipse its way through? The Daktari will push the buttons. So I'll keep this expensive wildcard for something else. My opponent of tonight agreed on using the new FTs. I'll be playing supplies and I'll have the MB HMG with the daktari in tow to capture a first one quickly in an order efficient manner
While a shotgun sculpt is missing, I was talking about AVA. Wildcats have AVA 5 and you'd need 6 to have a Core with one Wildcard and a Haris with the other.
Hmm... When I have Daktari in a link, she loses the ability to use Zondbots. Do I really want to use my (most likely) only doctor without bots? I guess that is the trade off when she is used as filler. And does it make sense to weaken my own link by having a hacker (Valerya) in it? What is the benefit?
Well, aside from being a filler, she's also a medic that is where that may be needed as your link moves. It may or may not be a tradeoff depending on what else you may have. Granted, Intruders and the like will almost always mean you have someone you'd want to leave your bot with.

Initially I was not sold about stacking those Tsyklon, but after giving it a second thought, you can actually easily stack them on ARO thx to climbing plus.Just have them on a wall and done, goodluck finding the Z axis to only see one. But the Daktari could be replaced by a regular alguacile for 4 points saved with the same impact in game

I still think that's BS, if I've got a Reaktion bot hull down and barely peaking over a roof, how is that not cover? Petty rant aside, does anyone know if an unconscious REM standing on a wall stays on the wall or falls? We've always just flipped a coin each game in my meta because I'm the only player it matters for.
Which makes sense for not getting the high ground cover bonus, but if I'm only exposing a sliver of my model by peaking around a corner or over a roof, how is that less cover than if I were on the ground doing the same? I accept this as part of the rules jank, but it never made sense.
I agree that it is stupid. Climbing Plus should allow you to get Partial Cover. In fact, the Climbing Plus rule should literally just say, "Climbing Plus allows the user to treat Vertical surface as Horizontal for all purposes." Done. Why CB got to make it so complicated?

And Climbing Plus is an Automatc Skill from the Special Skills category. So RAW say you have to deal with falling damage as well...
Yup, that's why I'm not campaigning to fix it, just pissing into the wind because it's a slow work day.
FYI, this was a deliberate change from N2 when you could get cover whilst climbing/jumping so I'm not sure it'll change back any time soon.
Dak may get AVA 2 but may also have a limit of 1 Wildcard. If it's important you can take an undropped Tomcat. They aren't that upcosted, add a dtw to the deployment, and climbing+ is good for doctoring.
Climb is not an Automatic skill though. All Climbing Plus allows you to do is use the Climb skill with less restrictions. You are still climbing. The real question is if the "automatically fall Prone unless a trooper type that cannot" cancels the "no prone while climbing" rule making you fall or if it means you cannot go prone even while climbing and unconscious.
