Brigada+Gecko and (probably) Brigada+Tsyklon seem like pretty interesting duos to me. Even just Duo Brigada HMG+Daktari sounds pretty good. If Lupe does get Haris a Lupe+Dak+Wildcat Spitfire will probably be pretty good. But just Spitfire+Wildcat Haris+Lupe covers a lot of the weakness of the Wildcat Haris. Being able to smoke past being outranged for one. And you get a low cost specialist. You don't lose a DTW with her. And she has a high number ARO for any range giving them pretty good cover. If we get even 1 more option to link with Wildcats you better bet I'll play Core and Haris.
Clearly the shotgun is missing ! Cmon CB make a mold and if you must package it with the HRL or Spitfire.
"I'm using the Daktari to Wildcard as Massacre. Link consists of 'Massacre'", points at the Daktari, "and 4 Jaguars."
Crusade Fireteam also requires exactly 1 Joan and 4 Hosps, so you'd think that "1 Joan + 3 Hosps" is not legal and as such there's nothing a Wildcard could join in such a situation, but it was ruled that Wildcard means "counts as literally anyone for fireteam composition", as opposed to how explanation of "wildcard" reads in lists of fireteams. Granted, I didn't dig Rules section for that myself. If that is correct though, this is another case of CB dropping the ball with rule writing.
Are the changes (meant in the video) everything that is changed? I would have loved some other weapon profiles on the units (especially one with an MK12). Or a nice Lieutenant option. As it looks right now, my personal corregidor expierience is not affected by any of these changes. I still play something like this: Spoiler Example ────────────────────────────────────────────────── GROUP 1 9 ALGUACIL Missile Launcher / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 15) ALGUACIL Missile Launcher / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 15) ALGUACIL (Forward Observer, Deployable Repeater) Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 12) ALGUACIL Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10) ALGUACIL Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10) INTRUDER HMG, Grenades / Pistol, CCW. (1.5 | 42) WILDCAT Lieutenant Combi Rifle + Light Flamethrower, D-Charges / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 19) DAKTARI Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 14) ZONDBOT Electric Pulse. (0 | 3) CLOCKMAKER Combi Rifle, D-Charges / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 18) GROUP 2 4 3 1 REAKTION ZOND HMG / Electric Pulse. (1 | 26) MORAN (Forward Observer) Combi Rifle, CrazyKoalas (2) / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 22) LUNOKHOD Heavy Shotgun, Heavy Flamethrower, D-Charges, CrazyKoalas (2) / Electric Pulse. (0 | 25) WARCOR (Sixth Sense L1) Flash Pulse / Stun Pistol, Knife. (0 | 3) BANDIT Hacker (Killer Hacking Device) Light Shotgun, Adhesive Launcher / Pistol, DA CCW. (0 | 25) JAGUAR Chain Rifle, Smoke Grenades / Pistol, DA CCW. (0 | 10) McMURROUGH 2 Chain Rifles, Grenades, Smoke Grenades / Templar CCW (AP + DA). (0 | 31) 6 SWC | 300 Points Open in Infinity Army EDIT: Hmm. When I think of it.. I might try an HMG Mobile Brigada / Daktari Duo Link.
IMO, Corregidor was always pretty strong, but with weak hacking compared to other Nomad armies. The new Fire Team options did a good job closing the gap between Corregidor and Starco, which for a while was "Corregidor 2.0". Its traditional Nomad weakness to not have tactical and strategy altering Lieutenant options, like Strategos or Chain of Command, so I doubt any of the Lieutenant upgrades would be implemented.
As far as I understand it you still need someone with the Haris skill to build a Haris. That's why so many hope for a new Lupe profil that has the Haris skill.
Has it ever been clarified whether a wildcard can join a special fireteam? That doesn't sound right to me but who knows anymore.
Fireteam: Core is a function of the Sectorial Army List, there has never been a Fireteam: Core skill. The army builder shows it under Skills & Equipment due to an awkward legacy formatting choice.
That's not how it's worded in the video, but I'm not real familiar with wild card rules. Am I understanding then that a wild card is a replaces any model, rather than can join by altering one of the variable slots (e.g. up to 4 jaguars in jaguar link)? Where is this ruling as it will be handy to refer to
It is really only in the Fireteams list where you find it. The key text is the "any" part ..."can join any Fireteam of this Sectorial Army." http://infinitythewiki.com/en/List_of_Fireteams Unfortunately it has not been further detailed as a Skill so these questions pop up pretty frequently, more so when it comes to an army that hasn't already gone through the "yes, any" phase.
ruling from the first(?) wildcard : Valerya. She can 'join' a special fireteam that has no variable slot but only mandatory slots. https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threads/solved-valerya-gromoz-and-scarface-in-dbs.23373/ and 'joining' doesn't mean the Duo+herself in a three-men duo. But 'join any link' mean 'replace any member'.
