Ajax also has the option to NBW instead of berserk, making the roll F2F against those CC nasties and bringing them down to his level. The Teutons don’t have that flexibility as they lack MA or NBW. Admittedly, Ajax pays a higher price than the Teutons do, but that added level of defense and options pays some dividends.
Yeah after I posted I had to edit from “pays a much higher price” because i bothered to check the price tags. I think characters get a bit of a price break because you can’t spam them, but 3 points is pretty cheap for what you get.
IMO Ajax's shiloutte value entitles him to a price break over a S2 unit, it may not be worth the break he gets, but it's a significant detriment with few redeeming qualities.
Full blown Impetuous rather than Frenzy can make it hard to close the distance outside of Steel Phallus too.

What TAG is "good" in CC? Best TAG in CC is the O-Yoroi, and it's CC21 MA1 EXP CCW. Gorgos is CC18 Shock. Marut is CC18 AP. Avatar is CC18 DA. Overdron and Xeodrons are only CC14. Raicho is CC19. Sphinx is CC18 EXP. Geckos are CC15. Iguanas are CC16. Lizards are CC17. Szalamandra are CC17. Maghariba Guard are CC16. Guijia is CC19. Uhlan is CC15. Cutter is CC18. Drago is CC18. Jotum is CC18. Seraph is CC20 EXP. Squalo is CC18. Tikbalang is CC17 AP. Anaconda is CC16. Scarface is CC19 AP with Assault. Defining 'good' as CC>=19, that gives us Scarface, Seraph, Guijia, Raicho, and O-Yoroi. Sphinx and Avatar may sneak in due to CCWs (and sneak attack on the Sphinx).
CC >= 20 with EXP is great CC TAG. Most of them has CC around 17 so that with at least DA (and PH 16) gives you great odds on killing Tueton due to unopposed roll.
I was just thinking... With Santiago wildcard, it means we can now have a fireteam core with DeFersen + Juana + 3 Santiago Knights?

This is my issue with the remake actually. I've very deliberately painted everything up to be a Santiago task force. Everyone else is there on sufferance.
Ha ha! I used to play Santiagos when everybody played Hospitallers, just because I loved the minis. My Magister Knights and Sergeants are Santiago. I was on the hype train and I didn't know ;-)
That's an awesome painted knight! Very crisp brushwork, sir. I'm still torn between buying the new magisters or the old sculpts. I don't mind mixing old sculpts and new sculpts (I purchased 2 santiagos and 3 Teutons when the changes were leaked) but I don't want to have the same unit with mixing sizes (if we assume there's another magister sculpt in the eventually renewed MO starter box). The new magisters lost all the momentum the old sculpts had: try to convince me the new magisters have hyperdinamics I dare you CB!
