Giving up marker state as datatracker works only in decapitation if You have 1st turn to kill HVT for 5OP just like that;)
Aye, there are likely to be other candidates (certainly infiltration loses its value in exclusion zone missions).
The Zhencha is great for grabbing heaters though. And being HI it can tool around in the midfield all game, unlike other skirmishers who will inevitably have to retreat back to a safe area or die.
I have tested Zencha SMG/DEP/Mines. And I have to say he did a great job. Climbing Plus is very good to search the back of our enemies. Thanks to him I could take the control of my right flank with minimal support. Of course we should take care about shock damage, but the chance to resist one wound and that ARM3 (6 in cover) makes to worth it. Like my friend ObviousGray said, we can call them "Heavy Skrimishers". And people, it's ours.
Well shit... This was my first time playing Frostbyte, so I guess it was bound to have mistakes. Thanks for correcting me. I'll make sure to apologize to my opponent :P In this case, this list is probably not great for Frostbyte then. I would honestly have the Hac Tao as the data tracker, then. The link team is defensive, so I was expecting most or all of them to die and picking anyone else would deny camo or AD. As Ariwch pointed out, I made a bunch of mistakes in how the mission is played. I expected the Shang Ji to die as an ARO piece, so I nominated one of the zhanshis who tried to make a hero run for the exclusion zone in the last turn, but got panzerfausted by a daylami. Luckily I killed my opponent's data tracker too. This list is not exactly built for Frostbyte. In the future, I'd nominate either a Mowang (big, beefy, hard to kill... probably... and doesn't deny anyone camo state by being DT), Hulang (we really don't know what it is, but I'll assume it doesn't have camo. If it does I will flip my shit), or a zuyong in a haris.
I just notices that Daoyings cant link, so they might have marker state or special deployment of some kind.
Good news for those who wanted a Shang Ji change; their existing Fireteam:Duo is gone, so there has definitely been at least a little maintainence on them.
I assume you're looking at the image I posted. Unfortunately you can't be sure. Having Fireteam: Duo on your profile doesn't mean you can link in a Duo, and because CB are sometimes literally fucking retarded, you will have models in a sectorial with Fireteam Duo on their profile that can't link because their sectorial lists like the one posted, don't have Duo listed there. Case in point: I shelled out cash for an out of production Icestorm CSU mini to use in a CSU duo for ISS, because they have Fireteam Duo on their profiles. I then found out ISS isn't allowed to form CSU Duos. The same is true for Authorised Bounty Hunters who have AVA 2 and Fireteam Duo on their profiles, which killed an Asuka Kisaragi conversion I was working on.
I don't think so. Regular fireteams have this sentence: Only those units specified on their Sectorial Army List can compose a Fireteam: Haris. The only requirements for duo are these: A Fireteam: Duo must be composed of a maximum of two troopers. Both members of the Fireteam: Duo must belong to the same unit, or those combinations of units indicated on their Sectorial Army List. One of the members must have the Special Skill Fireteam: Duo.
@Shinen This says otherwise: https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threads/can-csus-run-duo-in-nca-army.25158/#post-155517
CSU don't exist on the Secrorial List at all. I personally think that disallowing them Duo is as dubious as allowing them to be brought at all, so I'd say until they update the Sectorial List you either say "yes" on both or "no" on both.
@Shinen There is a very long discussion in this thread about the issue: https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threads/forming-fireteams-a-summary.3553/ Also alot of people agree with you but according to the guy who maintains the wiki that was not the intent. If it helps i don't know a single player group in my area that disallows them.
So @Koni just dropped that the Mowang will be 2W+NWI and ARM5. That'll make a solid Red Fury platform!
