Blah, you're right. I forgot the +1 Damage. Sleep-deprived. But if we're not seeing the (BS<12) Fat2 unit get any chance of damage at -12, we know there is a problem in the program!
Fatality! Yes, that's different than Full Auto. I've also implemented that. If I look at the raw output, I can see that it should be treating Tarik's rolls of 1 as critical hits. Tarik vs. Ghulam vs. Custom unit (no Fatality) vs. Ghulam It's definitely boosting his hits. Does this not look right to people?
I don't have code in place to treat a 1 as a crit even if a 1 would normally miss. I guess I'll need to add that. Edit: And fixed! Alguacil shooting Avatar at 24" Alguacil with Fatality L2 shooting Avatar at 24"
I've taken a first pass at adding surprise for BS, Hacking, and CC. Please try it out and let me know what you think.
Awesome! While I know you don't get Surprise [ whatever ] in ARO, might want to remove that from the Reactive side radio boxes, to avoid confusing people.
I may do that on a second pass. Those fields are all handled symmetrically, so not putting them on one side is actually more work. Currently the only skill that actually checks which side it’s on is Full Auto.
Suppose the easier way would be to have the Surprise radiobox check which side it is on, as well, to at least make it so that the calculator knows not to count it. ===== While I have your attention, have you thought about a 'reverse' button, to instantly swap who is active and who is reactive?
Sorry, that was a case of user error, I'd applied MODs of -12 so of course the chance of critting was only on 1s...
Just recently it occured to me that toggles for different saturation zones and visibility zones would be helpful, especially when you're testing link bonuses. Yes, you can use the custom modifiers to simulate link teams in saturation zones, but it's easy to forget on and you have to do it for both sides manually. A single toggle should take care of that.
Ran into a couple of really difficult to solve problems that aren't covered: Electric Pulse vs anything. Hack Transport Aircraft vs AD:3+. Both aren't normal FTFs so can't be completely simulated by the playing with settings. Yes I was looking at how good the odds of an EVO engaging a Liu Xing rather than Hack Transport Aircraft were. :)
Of those, Electric Pulse (always count your result as 7) is way more likely to be implemented than Hack Transport Aircraft (violation of normal FtF resolution rules).
@toadchild , is there Heckler jammer attack/aro options? Because I can't see them. Thanks in advance!
Well, Pulse is pretty easy to calculate in mind because you know exactly how much you need to roll. Hack Transport Aircraft is trickier, yes.
