Hey, dear corregidor and noad players, in te german community , a guy had the idea that gecko pilots should become Engineers and i think its a glorious idea :-) Because a corregidor pilot should be able to fix his shit allone ;-) Please make gecko pilots great again !!!
ARM fatality and BS affect the results more than 1 burst. Gecko pilots being engineers sounds pretty cool, not sure what it would do to balance thou.
Not if you’re using the Mk12. Even then, the difference between the combis and the dual ass pistols is negligible. Burst is king my dude. :)
If all you care about is odds and not range/suppressive then take the combis. The combis on the Gecko is better than the assault pistols against every target (heavy and light) in every situation (Extreme low/high mods, free shots, no cover) in every category (Chance to wound, chance to multi-wound, chance to take a wound back).
Beside it is - indeed - a very good idea, that will bring the option that a Gecko pilot can fix his buddy. How great is that?
It can fix itself as well. Very cool but possibly annoying for the opponent. It would be funny to see the pilot fail to fix his unconscious TAG and be so upset that he kills himself.

The Gecko is supposed to be a repurposed Recon TAG, make it a decent "recon" TAG. 6-2, Sensor, and Sniffers. Get crazy, give it a LGL Smoke.
That's what I have on my fan HSG profile to replace the panzerfaust/blitzen as a long range ARO. Imagining that coming out of those shoulder mounts seems dope to me.
