Or the change could come through another profile getting a tweak that let's them support Teutons. It's thinking about how things mesh together into that cohesive whole.
Well I'm not an expert on Morats but they (probably) were in worse place than MO (in terms of power), and if "thats it" for them then MO might not receive the changes we all hope for. Either way we probably will know tomorrow.
there is currently no profile tweek that can be generated to let teutons operate better, that doesnt let another knight supplant them in that role. teutons absolutely need their OWN profile reworked.
It depends on what you are looking for out of Morats but yeah, overall no real strengths that outshine vanilla or onyx. Rodoks are one of their best teams and you can get that out of onyx no problem. Suryats are okay for an HI team. Yaogats are probably their best argument having such a solid warband to chuck smoke for them. Hunting team is fun when it works and when it doesn't it still did work. Sogarats are in a sorry place being so damn expensive with minimal to show for it and the Raicho got the awesome overhaul. Zerats are neat but very vulnerable and barely manage their points as a result. Vanguard are excellent at watching Anyat do all the work. So yeah. Its competing with it's own units being better in other sectorials and vanilla having better options.
One user on the facebook said that CB didn't show us all Morat changes in the video and he implied he saw some of that changes, so I would rather wait for the book than for the info video from Bostria.
Because that's the opinion that I hold based on the information I have, and you base your information based on the information you have. If, based on my information, I thought you were correct, I'd agree with you, then I would. However, the information doesn't let me to that conclusion, so I don't. Funny how different information leads to different decisions, né?
Yeah, that "your opinion isn't worth any more than anyone else's"? That goes both ways "buddy". I think it sends a very bad message. And I think that your argument that it doesn't is equally bad, and compounds the harm.
Oddly enough, none of the videos show all the changes involved - CB wants the book to have some non-spoilered content!
honestly i get it that's cool, but i'd really love to get the profiles and changes now and have the book be an awesome fluff and art resource.
That's pretty unlikely, PanO has long been the excellent individual model, poor support. It would be an enormous change to how PanO works if it happens. Not that it couldn't/won't happen, just that it would be freaking huge. Gotta admit, I'm still rather disappointed that the Montessas got bikes. They already had a deployment shenanigan that was unique among knights, so why did they need the complete change? Not to mention that the old models are no longer useful for anything but proxies.
What I'm also suprised is than even in MO they are AVA 1. I wonder if we will see AVA 2 in Varuna (possibly).
Ok, so we know each order has it's own Knights, Father Knights, Magisters and Order Sergeants. While it would be a big departure from what has happened so far, what's to stop CB from releasing Order-specific Magister profiles (or others for that matter)? It would probably take a big bit of reprogramming within Army, but by selecting the Order first it then opens up different options within the FK, Magister and OS profiles. Montessa Magisters for example, could gain profiles with Mech Dep, Spitfire, LRL and LGL options (sure you suck up the no-cover, maybe they get a Duo profile as a "balancing tax"). Hospitaler Magisters remain as-is. Santiago Magisters lose the ML profile but come with/gain profiles with E/M grenages, 360 visors, BSG etc. Teutons... well they need a big rework anyway so I got nada. (Damn, now I'm thinking about it I want a biker + Auxbot profile for Montessa, that's be awesome)
