Looking forward to receiving my box and wondering how people are getting on with them, what kind of lists you're putting them in and what hasn't worked well with them too

I've used it quite extensively, and I really like it. The mobile 1 SWC Spitfire that can shoot smoke and has a template is a strong option for a lot of lists and even though I don't often use the dismounted mode, when it has come up it's been really useful (notably templating a link team). It's pretty awful reactively (as expected) and doesn't like powerful AROs with MSV but I've found it to be excellent at outflanking and destroying enemy troops.

I feel like it's sort of like a drop trooper, if you run it hot, find a good gap and exploit it, then it can destroy huge amounts of stuff. Or it can die to a stiff breeze (although ARM 3 isn't actually that bad IMO). I find it shines with a Kriza as well; the Kriza forces stuff to remain hidden from direct firepower and the Zondnautica flanks.

Do you dismount before the reactive turn to get 2 AROs? He's basically protected by a warband that way.

I tend to run 3 when I'm playing them in TJC, normally 1 spitfire, and twin AHD. Spitfire is great flanking murder piece, that can make a mess of a backline when he gets there. AHD's are solid super fast specialists, and given the average repeater and KHD count we have the fact that they are hackable is often a non issue, additionally with the amount of HI leading a LI fireteam and the reappearance of hackable targets the AHD ZN can offer some truly obnoxious decisions for some one.

I haven't tired them in vanilla yet but its on my to do list.

Pretty close to autoinclude in my Hollow Men lists because without smoke it is frequently impossible to leave deployment zone.
Throwing a big chainrifling robot in someones face is extremely fun and effective as a trade (unusual thing while playing TJC).

I have two and I love them and take them both alongside a defensive hollow man link team. The Link locks down the board while they run around and do all the things.
