Hi guys, I'm going to use this to post my personal infinity collection and infinity commissions - that way they will be easier to find. Here is a commission I did this weekend!
@taylor That dark brown & dark yellow color scheme really stands out. You did a great job on this recent commission. I certainly hope the customer was happy with your work.
Thanks! He was VERY happy. He just wanted table top quality - I like to think I went a little above and beyond.
Sure seems like you did. I hope all your future customers will be just as happy with your work as he is.
At one weekend i would had just preshaded these guys xd. Taylor the painting machine. And yes, great colorscheme. Nice job mate!
Finally found your thread. Those bolts look incredible. Please tell me you didn't paint all of that in one weekend?! That Wu Ming took me 18 days. Pan O when painted in a darker scheme look much more military and threatening. You made me consider buying Bolts.. I feel dirty.
Lol.. thanks man. Unfortunately, due to high demand, I'm a slave to the brush. Here is a link to what I finished this weekend... though I think i cheated and used my airbrush to give them a base coat on Wednesday or Thursday last week. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=2099792373585685&id=2085847934980129 Edit. Sorry, it looks like I started them on the 5th. Also, your wu-wing is incredibly detailed and clean. In comparison, those bolts are very easy to paint - as they are mainly dirty. If I were to paint the bolts white, especially as clean as yours, it would take me MUCH longer. Also... I cut my teeth on Warhammer when I was 12... I'm 38. I learned a long time ago what colours are forgiving and which ones aren't. You notice I use a LOT of forgiving colours in my schemes. Lol.
Just a quick update. Doing this as a commission to be finished by the end of the month. This is a WIP, obviously. Lol.
Please post photos of these guys when done, i'm looking forward to this box and it already looks like you'll be killing it, that bike looks great already
Warcors have them early for promotional reasons. We show them off at the local game stores to encourage pre-orders. Yellow? Lol. Oh! The kiesotsu's hair? That's VGC Golden Yellow with a sepia wash.
Oh! That's uh... VGC ... uh.. the orange that isn't the hot orange. I have it a skin wash, then highlighted it with golden yellow. :)
Last model finished. I'm seeing I need to touch up the grey a bit - but it looks as though I'm ready for basing.
