My next tournament will use the new JSA event package and I won't know the mission so I'm working on all comer list.

I haven't used my ariadna since September and my move to Aleph and I'm missing my camoed ariadnan army.

Here are the lines I fixed myself :
    - at least 13 regulars orders
    - at least 3 infiltrated specialists to do objectives
    - multiple camo HMG for strong firepower and redundancy (because crit happen)
    - no spetsnaz sniper, because I don't see how they are better than HMG (even in the above 48', HMG give better result than sniper agains a TR drone)
    - reslient lieutenant
    - camo shell game

With that in head, I ended up with 3 list :

    [IMG] Liste 1
    ──────────────────────────────────────────────────

    GROUP 1[IMG] [IMG] [IMG]8
[IMG] SPETSNAZ (CH: Ambush Camouflage) HMG / Pistol, CCW, Knife. (1.5 | 38)
[IMG] SPETSNAZ (CH: Ambush Camouflage) HMG / Pistol, CCW, Knife. (1.5 | 38)

    GROUP 2[IMG] [IMG] [IMG]5 [IMG]1
    [IMG] TANKHUNTER AP HMG, D-Charges / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 35)
[IMG] SCOUT Lieutenant Ojotnik, D-Charges, Antipersonnel Mines / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 29)

This first one use four specialists to do the objectives with enought firepower to destroy any ARO piece, even if one HMG end up critted to death. Antipode act as anti-camo or counter attack.

This second list is here to allow me to test the para HMG (I had to face it and was surprised by how efficient he can be). The hardcase and chasseur reinforce my mid-board control compared to the previous list. The line kazaks FO act as third turn objectives grabber. HMG give good long range firepower while

This third list is me pushing the camo game to its extreme (or near that) with 14 camo marker. The vet kazak is quite obvious a lieutenant but I think I can keep it protected with my quite strong board control (2 camoed light shotgun, 2 chasseur and their flammer, 1 mine minelayed and 4 SK ready to spread more)

So here it is, please give me any comment that come to your mind, point any flaw you see or suggest any improvement/new idea that comes

Camo game is fun and can really work. However, if you run into someone who has MSV2 or 3 you are in deep deep trouble. Now this is my local meta but I have run into at least one player every tournament that has a list specifically for Ariadna that contains MSV3 or a high amount of MSV2. It reeeaaaally cuts into your camo game. Thats why I try to avoid camo spam. I take a lot of camo but I throw in a couple other tricks as well. Though I do like Antipode list. You should be able to get some performance out of that.

MSV doesn't completely nullify camo game, you just have to play it tight and not rely on that -3 for a face to face.

Where's your Uxia? As a specialist with superior infiltration and d-charges, B5 assault pistols, she can be an extremely flexible problem solver.

You're absolutely right about Spetsnaz snipers not being worth it, the HMG is a better choice. Personally if I'm going with a sniper, Knauf or Blackjack are tied for first place for me, with Cateran a close second when I am tight on points.

With MSV2, your opponent's generally never better than a 50:50 chance to discover. Even with MSV3, your opponent basically has to burn an Order to attack you, even without a dice roll. So agreed with above, Visors are hardly crippling to Camo Spam.

I'd try to drop one of the ~30 point units just to get some line kazaks or a dozer/minesweeper muls to help top up at least one of those Order Pools. If you run across someone who is effective at hunting Camo, you'll want deeper order pools once you start taking casualties.

Just to throw another talking point: I counter camo spam with LOTS of deployables. What is your plan to deal with mines/koala/madtraps/symbiobugs

Mine cannot be deployed in camo range unless instinctive attack is used (and i always recamo) so I’m no to afraid

For the others, i kill the owner of the perimeter weapon long range (if he is a SK) or ignore them and focus on objectives. I can also use the hardcase to kill the perimeter weapon owner, I will usually loose him but the trade will still be in my favor (12 points irregular vs 20+ points regular).

My anti ariadna list. 3 mines start in the deploynent zone, 1 starts up field, tureg is in hd. With wip 14 vs bs 11 ill take a spec shot with mines all day. Mutts do mutt things and isolate any markers that are trying to come at me turn 1. By the end of turn 1 using xoordinated orders i can easily have 12 mines tucked all over the board ready to deny your turn 2 push.

Personally i think you need some warbands to clear and force my hand

Spetsnaz HMGs clear all this out from range without trouble.

It cut off half my list. With this list i really don't leave out aro pieces. I want to force you to advance so i can use my Ls and mines. The sniper is there becuase i like shock compared to hmg against ariadna, especially the doggies

I'm not really following your point here. Dog Warriors don't care about Shock ammo, and if you want to hide everything on your list you're just giving me free range of the board on my first turn.

Except I can just play the scenario and lay a minefield as dense as yours (4 SK with mine). We will then have a full minefield in each of our half table but have more advanced specialist to take over objectives so I should be able to pull it of. Basic strategy would likely be to kill ARO piece, take over objectives and mine them then hide my troops. With 4 SK and 2 spetsnaz HMG, it's more than doable.

I find your list interesting but there is nothing there I'm truly afraid of. If you use your djanzaban/knauf as ARO piece, my spetsnaz will munch them. Same for the fasid with my tankhunter. I don't detect as easyly as you do but I have a lot more SK to detect you so your Farzan should not last long alone.

While I agree that some highlander will make it easier to go through your defense, I don't feel like it's a must have. Still, they have their appeal and I could easyly tweak my antipode list to add 3 highlander and a metro instead of the pack. I will think about it.
