Hi all, I guess I'm restarting the thread I had on the old forums lol! Initially I had been painting my PanO in purple but it has become such a time suck that I have decided to backtrack and go the blue route. My decision was mainly to get stuff done to a tabletop quality and play with painted minis vs a bunch of undercoated stuff. First up, the Father Knight from the Op Icestorm set. Love this miniature! Father Knight 1 Father Knight 2 This is also the first time I've really done any NMM. I have to say, I like the effect. May have to do this more!
It certainly looks nice. Hopefully you'll get the hang of it so that the process becomes natural for you.
Well... I scored a couple new models... Should keep me busy for a while! This was a killer deal a buddy of mine had. He was going to start playing, but then decided against it. He wanted to offload his PanO and so I snagged all of it. Mostly older models, but I don't care!
Also, just finished this guy: pew pew! I decided I wanted to do a tabletop quality job on my minis now, more in the interests of fielding a painted force vs. partially primed. The purple scheme I was doing a while back, while nice to look at, was just too labor intensive, and I simply don't have the time.
Wow, you hit a jackpot. Congratulations!! Your Peacemaker looks great and the rest of your force should as well when you finish them.
Hi all, it's been a while! I'm trying to get my mojo back after being away for about a year from the game. Here is part of the force that I was playing with. I know the blue is a little brighter than it appears to be in the books, but I like the anime feel it's got to it.
