I was in California for work, so I had the opportunity to throw down against @YueFei23 under the watchful eye of @nehemiah. It's been awhile since I've fielded Bran or played against Yu Jing, but hopefully it's an interesting game to read!

    -60C, -50 DKP
    Mission: Frostbyte
Forces: Nomads versus Yu Jing Durian Inspection Squad (300)

I had a great time visiting and getting in my first playthrough of Frostbyte. If you haven't tried the mission, give it a go! Limited Insertion and the exclusion zone make it quite challenging.

Went back to Bakunin for some Moderator fun in a game of Recon+ against @xammy 's beautifully painted Onyx. While my Bakunin won't get credit for the Pacific Northwest Painting League, his Onyx certainly will!

    The Rodok Icarus
    Mission: Exfiltrate (Recon+)
Forces: Jurisdictional Command of Bakunin versus Onyx Contact Force (Recon+)

We played Exfiltrate, which is basically Rescue + Unmasking. Pretty rough, and definitely a fun mission for experienced players wanting a smaller point game.

Got in an unexpected game of Infinity thanks to a travel kerfuffle. Had a few hours to kill at an airport, so here's a batrep! Thanks to @zagdag for being flexible and getting a game in with me.

    Speed Che-Corregidor
    Mission: Smash and Grab (Recon+)
Forces: Jurisdictional Command of Corregidor versus Tohaa (Recon+)

    Enjoy.

Practicing for the Emerald City Incursion Mk II, coming up in November. Hope to see some of you fine folks there. Played Supplies against one of our newer players, who is really shaping up to be a scary ISS player.

    Under the State Empire's Boot
    Mission: Supplies
Forces: Nomads versus Imperial Service (300)

Double Su Jian lists are always rough.

More ECI Mk2 practice, this time against @TheDiceAbide's Team Edward list (4 Umbras of various flavors). This has got to be one of the most fun Limited Insertion games I've had in recent memory. Lots of interesting choices and toolbox usage, and lots of lessons learned as well.

    Team Edward's Sparkle Powder
    Mission: Supplies
Forces: Nomads versus Team Edward (Combined Army)

    Hope you enjoy!

After dumping 10+ camo tokens on people with Ariadna recently, it was my turned to get camo tokens dumped on me by none other than @nehemiah. He was in town visiting and stopped by Thursday game night to throw down with the locals.

    The Whole 9 Yards
    Mission: Acquisition
Forces: Nomads versus Tartary Army Corps (300)

A great game that came literally down to the last order and last die roll.

Managed to get a tournament prep game in against Alex Sinkowskis' Yu Jing. Very much a bowl-shaped table, with lines of fire from all around the table to the center and to the other sides of the table. Good thing we brought 4 MSRs between the two of us!

Lightning on the Tower of Terror
    Mission: Supplies
Forces: Nomads versus Yu Jing (300)

Been playing on tables with a lot of vertical interaction lately. Been a fun change of pace. Lots of jockeying for position before making a an objective run in this game of supplies. I was going to try a new Nomad list, but the table forced my hand into picking up the Intruder MSR again.

Well, @TheDiceAbide and I are doing a dumb thing, which is playing randomized lists, courtesy of that randomized list generator thingy. Thanks to @Zelaponeepus for helping me test out this crazy idea! (He was playing a list of his own making...)

    No Hacking, Just Slashing
    Mission: Acquisition
Forces: Random Nomads versus ALEPH (300)

It's actually pretty fun, and a good challenge for your on-the-table skills, as well as a validation of the oft-repeated mantra of "It's not your list, it's you!" We're both taking random lists to a tournament, so we'll see how that goes shortly!
