I noticed an issue when looking at Qapu Khalqi's new link options, it possibly happens in other factions too, I'm not sure. Many links list the Hafza, with the name of the base unit in brackets after them, and a maximum inclusion of 2 Hafza, which is fine if you only want to generate pure links. But if you are happy with a mixed link, you can also include 2 Hafza as wildcards in any link in the army, it is unclear how these two matters interact. Could one possibly take 4 Hafza and a single Janissary in a Janissary link, taking 2 of their Hafza from each allowance and producing a mixed core link (as 2 of them do not count as Janissary)? The rules say this: "Wildcards can be part of any Fireteam. The maximum column shows the maximum number of Troopers of that Unit that can be included per Fireteam. In addition, some Wildcards may also be listed in specific Fireteams. In all cases, the total number of Troopers of that Unit included in the Army List must respect the Availability of the Unit" The second sentence could absolutely be taken as restricting both wildcards and base troopers, but the context makes me not 100% certain about reading it that way. I'm curious to hear other people's take on this.
If for example in a Core Ghulam Fireteam you take 3 Ghulams and 2 Hafza (Ghulams) you get core fireteam bonuses and full Composition Bonuses. If in the same Core you take 1 Ghulam 2 Hafza (Ghulams) and 2 Hafza wildcards you get core fireteam bonuses but the mixed fireteam prevents you from getting Composition Bonuses.
