Hello, friends and I were reading rules and found something confusing. This is stated in General movement rules; By declaring Move, a trooper may Mount or Dismount a Motorcycle, TAG, Vehicle, etc. at the start of his Movement at no cost, the new troop profile will be applied during the whole sequence of the Order. 1. So what happens if A TAG pilot short moves, B2B contacting TAG Enemy AROs, shooting the pilot TAG pilot mounts TAG by short move? (or vice versa, TAG moves - ARO - pilot dismounts) Who bites the bullet, rolling armour save? Pilot or TAG? I think who mounted/dismounted later will suffer, which means TAG if mounted, or Pilot if dismounted, RAW. 2. Also, what does happen if A TAG shoots Enemy AROs with Total Control TAG pilot dismounts? Does the empty TAG husk suffers possessed, or nothing happens because dismounted pilot is no TAG? Thanks in advance!
This was recently FAQ'd so that you can only mount/unmount as the first short skill (basically activating the profile it is becoming only). I hope that clears up any confusion. Remember that this means you can still use your own TAG for LoF cover to avoid AROs. From FAQ 1.4: When can you Mount or Dismount a troop? When declaring Move as the first Short Skill of an Order, at the beginning of its movement, a troop can Mount or Dismount.
