    Hey guys,

I'm new and looking to sink my teeth into Nomads. Been watching the game a LONG time having first seen waaay back before N2 but never gave it a go until after IceStorm. That said, I'm looking at what to collect and build and paint and find myself wondering...

Which zonds do I use for which? Obvs the Tsyklons, Luno's, Meteors, TR, Vertigo and the baggage bots are what they are: but what does one use for Stemplers and Transductors? I'm down to proxy but am left wondering if there are unit descriptions on any of 'em in any great detail (I have the N3 core and rule books so limited amount of fluff to work with. What is the most common way to present Transductors and Stemplers you've seen? Just more of the "Zond Remote" box but with launchers and gun barrels trimmed down a bit or am I simply missing something?

The sculpts are a little long in the tooth these days (remind of Infinity when I first saw it way back when!), anyone have good input on proxies from other factions as I'm not all too familiar with the entire CB catalog. Any whispers about near-future releases?

The Zonds box comes with parts to build any 2 of the Stempler, Transductor, Reaction, or Vertigo Zonds. I believe there are still diagrams on the side of the box indicating how to build each.

I'm pretty sure CB have said somewhere that they are intending to resculpt the basic REM box for each faction, so proxying and waiting may be the way to go.

Generally you want 2 boxes of the basic rems (even if you magnatise) to cover 1x Reaktion, 1x Stempler and 2x Transductor. with the Vertigo, and additional Reaktions and Stemplers being kinda corner case.

I use the Mobility Form of the SuJian for Transductor Zonds.
First its one of the few minatures with S 3.
Second they are Tigers, Tigers are fast and the Transductors are fast as hell.
and Last but not least: It just Looks GREAT!

I painted them differently (one with, one without tiger stripes) to distinguish them if they are in different combat Groups.

Yes, that was late n2. Bostria even showed a bit later a pic in where there was a zipper bag with some unknown metal parts inside and a label "zond weapons" (yes, in english). After all this time, I think it was a joke from B.

I don't think they will reesculpt them soon (CB announced the moran repact that didn't come. They released one of the most wanted sectorials as if it was a 3rd rate one. It's lore came almost a year later and until now, had less , and even now, newer sectorials managed to get the same amount of new releases, with 1 year of difference, and the list goes on). Maybe in mid n4 we will get a review, the s3 zonds sell well, so they don't need to change them

Well, they did resculpt some of them, so there's that.
