We are having a discussion in my area about MadTraps. In my club our Yu Jing player uses a lot the Canren With MadTraps and when we try to apply the rule of boost he denies the ARO with the argument that if the do not reach the ARO target in one movement they do not activate, although Boost is a obligatory skill meanwhile the target is accesible or reachable. Can anyone help me with this issue? Thank you in advance.
infinite? The enemy still needs to come within it's zone of control, of the MadTrap, to activate Boost. So I wouldn't say it's Infinite. Even if they dodge in the active turn, they can't use the doge to move out of the zone of a second one or something.
True, but if the triggering trooper is the other side of a 300" long infinitely high wall then the Madtrap still gets to its target, so it's movement is essentially inifinite once Boost is declared.
Not just activates, but executes as well. You can still declare an order outside of the ZoC of the Perimeter weapon and have it go off, so long as the order has you inside it at any point.
Movement path is part of Declaring a skill. For example, you would Declare "This model moves to this point via this path" and if any part of the Declaration is within ZoC of the Perimeter weapon then it will Boost.
