    Hi,

Just wondering what sculpts can be expect besides the new Aragoto. I would love to see some extra Ryuken-9 models are right now we're kinda limited and they work great in pairs.

    Any ideas? Rumours? Leaks?

Nothing beyond the new Aragoto really

We've got Gencon and Interplanetario next month so if there is anything else in the works I'd guess we'll here about it at one of those events.

New Aragoto. Mine dispenser fluff hints that they may get a mine dispenser.

All that's left after that are missing sculpts:

Spitfire Kempei (I think this is likely. We're also missing a current Combi sculpt but I doubt we'll get one)
Daiyokai holding either of its BS weapons (I doubt we get another one at all, its AVA1)
Domaru Chain Rifle (current sculpts are N2 for chain rifles)
Oyama (Current sculpt is N2 scale and the Domaru armor has changed significantly, I still think this is unlikely)
    Tanko LSG (iirc)
Ninja is still missing some profiles, but I doubt we see any more. We currently have Tac Bow, CCW and MSR profiles, so unless we're getting a ninja holding a combi or a ninja with a hacking device, I doubt we see any new Ninja
Oniwaban w/ BS weapons (unlikely, all Oniwabans are CCW sculpts)

And as an honorary "ice cube in hell" shoot-the-moon resculpt, Yuriko Oda should not be dressed like a Gui Feng anymore, so there's that.

I think that's it. Of the 7 here, I think Spitfire Kempei and Tanko LSG are the most likely to get sculpts at all. After Aragoto are resculpted, we might see those two, and at that point, I think JSA will be considered "sculpt-complete."

I find it completely unlikely, but I would love if the new Aragoto resculpts brought with them an increase in AVA. I'll buy them because the models will almost certainly be amazing, but I also don't like that the ones I've got will more or less become obsolete xD

And again of course, Domaru bikers. (Won't happen, but a guy can dream). Beyond that, anything is a bonus as far as I'm concerned :)

As already stated, Aragoto is only confirmed one. I think Spitty Kempei is a solid bet.

    Wishlisting;
    Neko Oyama
    Combi Rifle Domaru
    Saito Togan
    Alt-Daiyokai

Spitfire Kempetai might not get made if it isn't getting taken. I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone use it.

Melee Domaru function as Chain Rifles, so I wouldn't wait for that one.

I wouldn't be surprised if JSA was done for the foreseeable future, once Aragoto drop. A mine launcher profile would be a great little update to keep things feeling fresh, but all things considered we're in very good shape.

If anyone wants another Forward Deployment Ryuken-9 by the way, I suggest the double breaker pistol Authorized Bounty Hunter.

I half suspect the Spitfire Kempeitai profile only exists so people have a use for the old Spitfire Raiden.

I think that's accurate. Great point.

I love the design on the MSV2 Kempetai, but I've been using the Spec Ops model as my MSV2 Kempetai and I quite like the look of the fully enclosed, professional looking armor. The old Spitfire Raiden would achieve a very similar look.

Pardon me for splitting this out.

Spitfire Kempei (I think this is likely. We're also missing a current Combi sculpt but I doubt we'll get one)
Maybe, as I think the profile is there for proxying that Raiden.

Daiyokai holding either of its BS weapons (I doubt we get another one at all, its AVA1)
Unlikely, unless CB is going to split the Army Box up.

Domaru Chain Rifle (current sculpts are N2 for chain rifles)
There are two melee-weapon Domaru in the box, so I'm not expecting any.

Oyama (Current sculpt is N2 scale and the Domaru armor has changed significantly, I still think this is unlikely)
Oyama is smaller, but is within the levels of human variation. His model does have the thigh plates of the N3 Domaru, with a happi coat over the top. Unless that model of Oyama was not 3d Sculpted (and I don't remember if it was!), I'd say no.

    Tanko LSG (iirc)
I'm not expecting it, though an alternate arm for the "flammenspeer" model would be nice.

Ninja is still missing some profiles, but I doubt we see any more. We currently have Tac Bow, CCW and MSR profiles, so unless we're getting a ninja holding a combi or a ninja with a hacking device, I doubt we see any new Ninja
I guess they did drop the oldest Ninja sculpt (standing male w/CCW, was in the 2006 YJ starter pack I think). But unless there's a plan to resculpt to match the Red Veil Ninja, I'm not expecting any new Ninjas because the 'hacker' never had a visor and so can fill in for any profile if you needed it to.

Oniwaban w/ BS weapons (unlikely, all Oniwabans are CCW sculpts)
I agree that it would be very unlikely.

And as an honorary "ice cube in hell" shoot-the-moon resculpt, Yuriko Oda should not be dressed like a Gui Feng anymore, so there's that.
Well, she does have back fins, but Xe has hoops like the Hac Tao. So I'm honestly expecting a resculpted Gui Feng more than a new Yuriko!

I think that's it. Of the 7 here, I think Spitfire Kempei and Tanko LSG are the most likely to get sculpts at all. After Aragoto are resculpted, we might see those two, and at that point, I think JSA will be considered "sculpt-complete."
I'm honestly not expecting anything other than the Aragoto before JSA is declared complete, unless there are a couple extra non-digitally-sculpted models we've missed.

I think the reason we don't see the msv2 kempie is two fold - the Rui shi has a reputation of being amazing, and the lack of CoC seems contrary to the JSA play style where you actively use your LT.

That being said I believe the linked kempie is a better bet than the rui shi. While more costly in army points, the keisotsu link provides multiple orders and protections for your msv trooper. It is also more Swc efficient because that msv doesn't cost 1.5. I would argue the kempie is more order efficient in the link as well. Both platforms come with an innate bs12, the link bumps the kempie to 15 - which is the "equivalent" of the remote shooting at something in cover with assisted fire in place - which costs an order.

I believe that in list construction where you plan on embedding your LT in a keisotsu fireteam, the msv2 kempie shines - you wouldn't put your LT and backup LT in such close proximity that one bad chain rifle nukes both would you?

I regularly play the MSV 2 Kempetai in link it's very nice.
Then again I don't own the Rui Shi yet.
