I just had a game where I was down to a Govad LT and 2 kameel baggage remotes (37 + 40 baggage). Then dropped an AHD Ragic, and regenerated my asawira doctor to get back into the game. Lost the LT before turn 3 and had to use my last 2 command tokens to convert my irregular orders to regulars. Used my LAST order to causcious move into contact with the tech coffin to win aquasition 5-2.
Well, there were games over all those years where I was wiped out or almost wiped out (especially when playing Hassassins), but the end tally counted more Objective Points for me than my opponent. Thus making me the victor regardless of casualties.
1 Jannisary with AP Rifle surviving 4 AROs from triaded tohaa while Move-Moveing into the Armory. He was all I had left. And I won. Then I gave my opponent some chocolate to keep him from trying to murder me.
One 30pt Odalisque with Spitfire. All of my other units were wiped out by turn 3 but I still won that game.
On a limited insertion tournament achilles sent me on retreat on turn 2. But we did the same ammount of OPs so in the end we scored a draw. I also won the tournament cause i did 2 major victories before.
Tuareg Doc + Saladin in pair win me a Frontline. Saladin shoot down the enemies holding a closest to me & midlle zones, Tuareg out-scores Middle. (i started last turn without retreat cause have one more model - Ghulam Doc, but she catch a bullet with first activation, trying to get rid off kanren in closest zone with her BSh) PS it realy worth it - to activate your Lt model, Saladin himself, stand under fire of Lunah viral sniper but ignoring it spread the burst of combi-rifle to other attacking enemies, kill two of four scoring units, & in counting realise that Tuareg costs more whan agent in the middle line...
It did. It was down to the locked in CC Odalisque (who has Valor Lv3: NWI) and the Djanbazan Sniper, who retreated and got shot in the back. Still, I had accomplished more objective points by then.
Polish Open, playing Bahram in Rescue against USARF. Both only managed a classified as far as end of turn 2. Turn 3 he finally evacuated 1 civilian into his DZ. Down to 6 orders. I moved a Shihab to detonate two mines and try kill some AROs. Failed. I move a Muyib into the same spot to kill the same AROs and detonate 1 last mine. Failed. I move my last Muyib into the same corridor (Boarding Action), fail to kill AROs but survive. Down to 2 orders. Move Muyib again, take two AROs, ignore and move again as I lose if I don't kill the CivEvac and won't have LoF otherwise. 2 arm rolls later I enter dogged. Last order, I move into LoF of CivEvac, he shoots. Rolls 13. I shoot, 5, 6 and 15. The enemy Marauder goes down, Muyib goes down due to Dogged. That crit ties me the game that otherwise would've been lost.

I was in LoL in Turn #2, and at the beginning of my Turn #3, only the Farzan Minelayer, Govad #2 and Govad Rifelman remain active (there's also unconscious Asawira Spitfire, but I decided to not waste Orders trying to Regenerate him). I already have 2 OP for having sacked the enemy document case, my opponent has none save what he got for killing me out (a secondary mission). So, I jump my Govad Rifleman out of a balcony, sprint toward the Diplomat my Asawira Doc managed to haul there before he fell, and synchronize him. With my last Order, I get the man into my Deployment Zone, securing him. And since I started the turn in Retreat, game ends.
As I wrote in Bahram tactica, that makes them a good defensive Core to work for an aggressive Lt (the problem is the only aggressive Lt in Bahram is really an Asawira...). And as for cushioning LoL, the Farzan CoC is cheaper. But then again, two birds with one stone... I've lost both heavy weapons Govads to Spetsnaz HMG (damn, this guy is scary! HMG with Marksmanship L2 on a Camo model... ouch!) on my opponent's first turn (though I can't say the ML didn't pay off!), and the Govad Lt. to Mul's Speculative Shot (it was hitting on 2-or-less... and yes, the son of a gun did hit!), so I spent my turn #2 in LoL, and got into #3 with 3 active models (Govad #2 was my new Lt).
Just had a game where my asawira was down in Frostbyte, opponent winning on points. I regenerate the Asawira, save against the two ARO hits, he then wipes out a Line Kazak link team and survives in the middle. Stole a 3-6 loss into a 10-1.
Yeah Asawira just wreck line infantry links. I loved those guys before they got nerfed too. My almost loss was one of our early games. Everyone in our group started at the same time because it was too difficult and expensive to do Blood Bowl at the time. I had Djan sniper left. Wasn't in retreat because we were only playing 100 points or something daft like that. Oh and he was in CC with a Galwegian. My opponent brought Wallace (I love killing that asshole), Cameronians, Galwegians and Volunteers. He berserks and I knife him, he dies and I don't by some miracle. Positioning was bad for all of us in the early days so I use the Lt order to move and shoot Wallace, which also works. My opponent has a pair of chain rifle nuggets left who promptly leg it due to retreat. I love beating spam lists, especially Wallace ones. When we moved up to 200 points that guy won much less.
once on a tournament playing acquisition against aconte. I had last turn. My specialists locked those consoles and get killed. Enemy datatracker montesa lgl (which wiped half of my army) camped middle objective. I tryed several moves and get killed every time. With the last order I cut the corner with naffatun, montesa declared dodge, regular sniper called shot, I used flames. We joked about it and rolled the dices. Both dead! I had only ghulam doctor left standing. (16 pts.) after that we figured out, that I was in retreat that turn about 1 or 2 points... pitty, it could be so great :)
