To anyone keeping up with recent wargaming news, it should be known that GW has joined with Bandai to make chibi gashapon figures and a 7 inch space marine figure. So what is everyones opinion of this and the impact it may have on seeing new similar products from other games. I would personally LOVE to see this for infinity, the anime aesthetic begs for this treatment, and i would love more ways to collect infiniy related merch.

Depending on the terms of their deal, they could be a "Japan" exclusive thing again (like some of their previous 40k stuff).

The random-packed Space Marine character models started as a Japan-only thing, and then became something that you could get in the US, even directly at a GW store.

So even if the ChibiMarines start out as Japan-only gasshapon items, I'd be willing to bet that they'd become available within 2 years in the rest of the world.

A 7" tall Real Grade Marine would be scary-expensive, though.

I mean 6 inch shMonsterarts figures are between $60 and $200 on average. For a collectible like the space marine i feel thats a fair range.

Honestly, I would hope that Bandai would fund a 40k anime (and/or manga) as an advertisement for the models. After all, that's really what the various Gundam tv shows are, half-hour long model commercials!

We're still waiting on the last lot of "Japan only" merch that made it to the US. You do realise that RoW does not stand for "USA" right?

If CB ever partner with Good Smile Company to produce some Infinity Nendoroids, I foresee a second mortgage coming...

I don't care which, I just want bigger Infinity figures! From smaller 7'' ones to huge Sideshow Toys ones. As someone who doesn't play the Wargame and paint just for hobby and look (And tabletop RPG), it would be a dream!

I Would kill to see a line of the SuperHeavy Infantry (S5) doods. They would look masterfully badass next to my MLP collection on my Office Table :D

Put them on the MLP's backs for a shock team of might and magic.

    And a bit of frienship.

I'd love to see a bunch of Infinity units given the big model treatment, especially the ladies...
