So I decided with the Druze I will be painting everything and basing it BEFORE playing it. I got a couple of games in before I started, but we will see how this works. I also have Onyx I am collecting. The wife got me a "scratch and dent" copy of the Contact Force 300 Point box, and got it cleaned and ready to assemble but decided I will just collect the models, clean them, and then when ready I will assemble and paint. I am still debating the color scheme. I am not hot on the black and red, so was thinking of doing a cool, dark blue, or purple, and the red "muscle". List of Druze:

Bases: Warsenal Tunguskan Bases (In transit)
1x Arslan (filed and reshaped Scarface Pilot) DONE, needing base
1x Valerya Gromoz DONE, needing base
1x Druze HMG DONT, needing base
1x Druze SMR WIP, needing base
1x Druze KHD WIP, needing base
    4x Old Druze Models, primed
1x Scarface TAG, built, primed, based
1x Cordellia, built, primed, needing base
    1x Brawler Haris, converted, built
    1x Brawler Hacker, Converted, built
1x Brawler Sniper (Major Lunah), built
2x Kameels, I cheated, they were built and painted in my Haqq ;)
    2x Pathfinders, SOLD OUT
    2x Peacemakers, SOLD OUT
    1x Clipper Dronbot, SOLD OUT
    1x Sierra Dronbot, SOLD OUT
    2x Fugazi Dronbot, SOLD OUT

1x Brawler Doctor, unknown conversion yet

wow, thats a lot of work....
I prefer assamble and make a base coat to all miniatures to play and then paint slowly with no hurries and make a better job.
    Its just my opinion

Great project. Have fun. I just started full painted druze as speedpainted project in 3 weeks and had a blast. Playing them also is really fun.

Heres are some photos to start us off! We got the first conversion which may just turn into a ghulam Doc Plus, we will see...

Gata Doctor! WIP 12 cause shes too ADD to wait around! Shes got places to be and your bleeding body is not one of them!

Next up is the Haris of Brawlers. We have Lunah the MSV2 Sniper, the Haris, and the Hacker.

Next is my pile of bits. I may have gone overboard a while ago in my Haqq on buying a ton of minis for the bonesaw first and foremost...but dunno...might need more...

I'm the same way, I will not play a figure until it is painted.

    Update on some models!

I got the Outrage models coming in the mail and the bases should be here Saturday!
I am planning on getting an airbrush kit here in February so I may hold off on painting the bases until then. We will see what the detail is like.

First up an Arslan conversion! Simple head swamp from the man bun ghulam.

Next is the WIP of the SMR Druze.

Last is Cordelia with her basic colors down. I have not been able to decide on hair color though...

I realize now after the fact that the Druze WIP with its black paint scheme is not coming up well against its black and grey priming work...

I'm impressed, Gricks. I'll be honest, I saw the pile of pewter and wasn't expecting much... Lol. It's definitely a great surprise!! I love the fade on the Druze helmet. Great work!

Oh that pile of pewter is just my bits box. Thats all either extra bodies (I got an extra odalisque and Janissary body once!) I also have a Yudbot in there I plan on using as a nasmat. Bunch of random weapons and bodies too.

Yea for my mid year bonus this year I just went onto Miniature Market and bought about $200 of just models that I thought would have interesting bits and bobs to get a bits box going. Post Humans, Bandits, extra red veil, sophotect, junk.

Right on. Yeah, our LGS had a $3 miniature sale on old discontinued models. I ended up getting so much Shasvastii and Exrah. So I totally get it.

And thus, I fall down the rabbit hole and finally understand what Nietzsche meant about the Abiss staring back at you.

I have a few minis I bought for bits. I never considered actually having a "Bits Box" for Infinity (droooools). This is a great idea, but one I think will cost me my life, once my wife learns what I'm up to.

Although, to be fair, she no longer buys the "and I won't need anything else after this." line

Luckily my wife knows, but I used my personal spending allowance to buy it so all she could do was roll her eyes. Then I pointed out she spent JUST as much on Overwatch loot boxes and that sorta brought it into perspective. ;)

I got my bases in on Saturday from Warsenal and have been painting them up. I will show them tonight when I get home! I really like these warsenal bases...base toppers?

Update time! I got some picks of those Warsenal bases. I cant show the models as they will be part of the Mayacast Master Glass, but you can enjoy their feet and the bases.

Also here is my Druze Mimetism Sniper, aka Knauf. Base colors are done. Need to do some washes and highlighting next. The cloak was glazed Prussian blue and will be a deep blueish-grey.

And yes, he is still slightly wet, this was the picture before letting him down for the night to dry.

Sorry for lack of updates, been pretty busy of late with work and other things. I hope to get back to my Druze here shortly. I am having a hell of time stripping my KHD Druze LE mini.

I finally got myself a steel bristle brush from walmart last night and finished stripping my other druze models fully! Finally! I am also happy that the super glue broke down and I was able to safely peel the pieces apart so I can start from a fresh clean (minty smelling) state. I hope to get Arslan finished up and the KHD Druze rebuilt and primed tonight. Also picked up the new Joan for her heads, and her Multirifle for Arslan. I am using Joans bunned head for my brawler haris model (currently the one with uxia's head) as the flow of the coat and the hair clashes.

What really helps me is my fancy schmancy vibrating jewellery cleaner dealy. I let it soak in simple green in there for a few days, and then rev her up for about two hours. Models come out pretty clean, and nothing a tooth brush won't clean up.
