I just built my void operators, the models are beautiful, some of the best in combined army even, but their profiles are a mess of skills and equipment that fails to come together in any useful way. If it wasn't for an upcoming local league using MANHUNT rules from warsenal I wouldn't build these models for regular infinity play, and that's a shame for such beautiful sculpts.

As of now all other exrah have their niche in some way, Caskuda is a close-range powerhouse with a reliable-ish delivery method, and with it getting a multi-rifle and a tactical order after landing it's in a good place as a sometimes food in CA, Vector operators were the best profile out of CA's reinforcements since its relaese, and even got an outstanding upgrade with a plasma sniper rifle in N5, EXO's aren't that useful in CA, even with addition of fireteams, but in OCF they provide a much needed chain of command, but for some reason can't be part of a fireteam there, and the humble Base operators are the cheapest and very fast engineers for both CA and OCF.

The more I look at the models for Void operators the more I think that these would make a great "basic" HI model for CA, since the Suryats left for MAF there's no model like that in CA now.

I'm not sure how this would fit with the lore of Exrah that CB has in mind, but a VITA2 Exrah model would work in the rules currently because Exrah special skill only sends models directly to dead instead of unconscious, not when the model suffers a wound.

I think that at about 35-45 points a profile like this wouldn't set the world on fire, but will give Void operators their own niche and then we're just a skirmisher and a warband away from an Exrah sectorial or NA2, which I wouldn't bet on happening anytime soon of course.

ISC: WCD Void Operators Spec. Trained Troops Heavy Infantry
Characteristics: Cube, Regular, Not Impetuou, Hackable
MOV CC BS PH WIP ARM BTS VITA S
    6-2 17 13 12 13 5 0 2 2
    Equipment: X Visor, 360º Visor
Skills: Courage, Dodge (+1"), NCO, Terrain (Zero-G), Exrah, Super-Jump (Jet Propulsion), BS Attack (SR-1)

With VITA2 both their visors will be a lot more useful defensively, and keeping the BTS0 should be a good balance to their mobility, although looking at Hollow Men I might have been a bit conservative with the profile update, and as for weapons with BS attack SR-1 the current ones would be fine, but maybe an HRL instead of LRL and some sort of sidearm like a chain colt would be good.

Void Operators are pretty good too, I think. A duo of Red Fury + KHD brings a lot for a low price, with B4+1 at BS12 out to 40" shooting (enough to get HMGs and the like into bad rangebands), and a fast specialist to push buttons if necessary. Onyx usually have some hacking coverage out, too, so an extra reactive hacker is often useful.

I think the Void are pretty good as they are. The X-Visor should not be underestimated. The RF covers a lot of area! The LRL is pretty good too. It gives a lot of flexibility. It’s not great on PS but being able to not allowing cover added to ARM makes up for it.

I think it would make sense for all Exrah, in Onyx, to count as “Exrah” for the haris. You can’t ever get the bonus to Discover or Dodge because they are max 1 or 2. I can’t see how getting that bonus would push them into being OP.
