Hi team. Some of you may have seen this on Facebook already, but @RattlerNxt and I cobbled together an unboxing video for the VIRD starter. We put it together on quick notice, but I hope it helps everyone get a sense of the kit and plan any conversions or collection expansions. If you're on the fence about picking up or starting Varuna, take a look...
OMG, I have just seen the face and heard the voice of the great Barakiel. o.O A part of me wants to say thats not what I expected but then another part says I have no clue what you'd look and sound like so why am I surprised. lol
#Jealous! I want mine! But thanks for the video, it's nice to see how they're going to go together and not just the 3d renders or the painted minis.
@barakiel Thank you for posting this video here. Glad to hear that you got this box earlier than the rest of us and I hope you enjoy Varuna.
@Death Let me guess: longer hair and way more California than you expected. That tends to be the most common reaction Thanks all for taking a look. Just finished painting up the Kamau, ORC and am mostly done with the Zulu Cobra. These are fantastically fun miniatures to paint.
Good eye! There's a little bit of space between the chairs and the pipe. The last thing we want is to burn down our LGS
@RattlerNxt and I are California. I've always been California (I'm a native, living first in the Central Coast and now in the Bay Area.) Rattler is a native Californian too, though he's lived all over. I don't think he was ever an Infinity player in Colorado.
I see. That is quite interesting. My Aunt, her former Marine husband & my Grandmother currently live in San Diego. I'm on the northern West Virginia/Virginia state line.
It's funny to see people's faces after avatars and internetz. You need more neckbeards though, you look too normal human.
Thank you barakiel, for that unboxes video, That box set is something to look forward to, I can't wait.
never I got my box last night, very tidy sculpts and all of them are a dream to put together. The Zulu required a tiny bit of bending in places but they were lovely to put together. Hoping all PanO releases have back heads + antennaes as one piece, rather than gluing in individual antennae like some Kamau had.
Getting a little work done during the holiday... And here's a test fit for a rifle I'm reassembling. What you see there is 4 different pieces... More than the rest of the Zulu Cobra. It will serve as either a breaker or a Shock Marksman Rifle:
