    Infinity Vanilla Fireteams Tier List

This was a requested topic in a previous video - thanks for the suggestion!

Duo ranking criteria: what makes a good duo?
    1. Order efficiency
    - but remember, moving more models up the table is only sometimes good!
    2. Synergy
    - two troops that combine their abilities well, e.g. complementary range bands, or a specialist and a gunfighter, or a hacker and a repeater
    3. Unique mechanical advantage
    - doing something you couldn't do without a duo, i.e.:
    - supressing frenzy or impetuous
    - tinbots
    - extending NCO/tac aware to multiple troops

    0:00 Introduction

I am surprised that Nomad Duos were not a C. They are alright, but I would place Yujing duos much higher (A rather than B). Being able to add -6 tinbots to a lot of HI and so much NCO is very strong.

Yeah, for YJ I was honestly suprised he didnt mention Shang Ji APHMG at all. Or NCO Eng linkable with TAG. Or MHB Red Fury linkable with Kitty, the only thing capable of keeping up, with decent shooting.

I think too much attention was given to the Su-Jian (even if it deserves it) and blanking on Shangers and Zuyong. Su-Jian duo is just straight up better than anything Pan-O has, same as Haqq's Asawira and ITS14 Rafiqs, but the other stuff in Yu Jing's duo offering is still worth mentioning and in my opinion at least on par with Pan-O.
It's also worth mentioning that if your problem is unit slots in Yu Jing, it might be that you're stuck in a mindset rather than actually having a limitation. If MBH works well for PanO duos it will work well for Yu Jing duos for exactly the same reasons.

Yeah I responded to him on YT. I totally disagree on his placement of YJ. YJ has by far the most and many good synergies. The others have great but only really one or two good ones and that's it. Sadly Haqq has the best HI in the game instead of the HI faction.

Don't need to make every conversation about the shortcomings of Yu Jing, especially not when it's quite obvious Yu Jing compares really favourably.

Meanwhile, Aleph duo set looks like they should've been updated with the Steel Phalanx update and O-12 also looks like it's missing duos sourced from a second sectorial that hasn't been released yet. The comment on Asura is one of those that makes me want to play the faction in a TTS tourny just to see how wrong the statement is.
