While I wont go to the interplanetario, the next tournaments in my town will act as a training ground for the interplanetario (same rules, same missions) so my list will have to be build like for the interplanetario

I played Ariadna during season 8. During season 9 I played Aleph but after something like 9 tournaments playing Aleph, I'm thinking of a move to nomad earlier than expected (my plan was to do it for season 10)

    So, now the lists.

First point on which I would like some help : do I build 1 list especially for Highly Classified with all specialists ?

If yes, I have been thinking of something like this :

    [IMG] Nomads
    ──────────────────────────────────────────────────

    [IMG]10
[IMG] INTRUDER HMG, Grenades / Pistol, CCW. (1.5 | 42)
    [IMG] PROWLER Spitfire, D-Charges / Pistol, CCW. (2 | 36)
[IMG] REAKTION ZOND HMG / Electric Pulse. (1 | 26)
[IMG] MORAN (Forward Observer) Combi Rifle, CrazyKoalas (2) / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 22)
[IMG] SPEKTR Hacker (Assault Hacking Device) Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 36)
[IMG] SPEKTR (Forward Observer) Combi Rifle, Antipersonnel Mines / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 32)
[IMG] INTERVENTOR Hacker Lieutenant (Hacking Device Plus) Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 25)
[IMG] REVEREND HEALER MULTI Rifle, Nanopulser / Pistol, EXP CCW. (0 | 37)
    [IMG] ZONDBOT Electric Pulse. (0 | 3)
    [IMG] ZONDBOT Electric Pulse. (0 | 3)
    [IMG] TOMCAT Engineer Combi Rifle + Light Flamethrower, D-Charges + 1 Zondcat / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 26)
[IMG] [IMG] ZONDCAT Electric Pulse. (4)
[IMG] JAGUAR Chain Rifle, Smoke Grenades / Pistol, DA CCW. (0 | 10)

    6 SWC | 298 Points

    Open in Infinity Army

Intruder and prowler for offense, reaktion zond and 2 koala for board control, lot of specialist (1 doctor, 1 engineer, 2 FO, 2 hacker) and all of them can go on offense if necessary

Spektr will be deployed as TO marker unless there is a real tactical advantage not to do so.

The reverend healer can act as a doctor when necessary but is strong enough to do some objectives

I took the tomcat with his bot so he can (if necessary) both repair the total reaction drone and go do some objectives/explode something

Any comment on this ? Is a highly classified list needed ? If yes, what would you change in my list ?

Next question : what would you suggest for other list ? Intruder + jaguar seems a must have, so does some specialist (spektr, moran) but what next ?

I almost never build a list specifically for Highly Classified with Nomads. It is too easy to find good, universally useful specialists to fill the spots you need. I generally just tweak one of my other lists to make sure all the classifieds are covered.

As for your list, just one remote can be a problem, but it might be unavoidable with LI. Zoe might be a good choice here, as her and Pi-Well cover 3 out of 4 specialists by themselves, so taking them and a Tomcat Doc covers everything pretty nicely (and gives you another remote to engineer). I'd also favor taking a Chimera over a Prowler, what you loose in Infiltration you make up for with speed. You also gain 12ish points, Eclipse smoke, & upgrade Bioimmunity to Total Immunity, which increases the chances that your Tomcat can bring her back.

Never notice that before. Hmm. Perhaps it might be worthwhile to pay the 1 SWC to bring McMurrough instead. Generally though, unless I'm playing CJC, I'd rather bring the Tomcat Engineer anyway due to D-Charges, so as I generally structure my lists, this would be a plus.

Then you don't get the last specialist type for highly classified.

I realize this was a bit ambiguous, but what I meant here, is if I was going to make wholesale changes to the list like I built it myself for a normal tournament I'd take a Daktari and the Tomcat Engineer and maybe skip Zoe. Since it's an LI Soldiers of Fortune list you can just take McMurrough to be the in your face threat instead and then you are back to having everything covered with just Zoe, Pi-well, & the Tomcat Doc.

    Pardon, why should he?
You not only lose the Prowler's infiltration but also his Spitfire, D-Charges, Camo state and overall awesomeness. Just to get a bag of fleas blocking eveyone's sight. If LOS blocking is needed the list present has it's means to do so with the advantage of either the Intruder shooting through smoke or the Prowler shooting through White Noise - both in their ideal ranges without spending many orders.

@Arkhos94, what are the other two missions will be played on your next tournament?
This would be my take for the 2nd List which is capable of completing HC as well.

I don't know yet but between this tournament and the next, I will likely play all 5 interplanetario missions so I would like to build a set of 2 lists working for all 5 (like if I were going to the interplanetario)

I was asking myself the same question, Chimera and prowler spit don't seem to do the same (or even a similar) job so I fail to see what the chimera brings that could replace the loss of offensive power of a camo spit that start the game in its best range. @wellspokenman, could you explain ?

Regarding Zoe, I like her but I ended up not taking her because the duo is too cheap and I needed higher cost troop. Still, I agree with you : she and pi-well both bring a lot of utility. I will try again to find a place to fit them

PS : all the ghost servant are remote so, if necessary, I can make them jump and fall to have something to repair

Your need to re-evaluate the Chimera if you think that is all she brings.

The Chimera w/ Pupniks brings Burst 4, Damage 17 Viral, that auto hits & crits on a 17 or higher. She also comes with an extra order, Eclipse smoke, a DTW, a weapon that can SF, an easy solution to mines or other deployables, and 6-4 movement with climbing plus. Used properly she is a massive threat to any unit in the game. Considering the LI format, I'd expect TAGs and HI links. Your list might have a hard time against those, as it lacks a bit of punch, and shooting through Smoke/White Noise and Surprise shot mean nothing to any 4+ fireteam. Also her Eclipse smoke can be extremely useful for getting your specialists in position.

Also, some of this is personal preference. I like having fast, threatening pieces that my opponent is forced to deal with. This keeps them reacting to me instead of executing their game plan, which I think is important in Nomads.

Two TO Camo models can be a bit unwieldy, at least from my experience. It means that you only start with eight models on the board, seven once we factor in your Tomcat, so unless you place them down as markers instead of in Hidden Deployment you might be in trouble... in which case you might as well be plonking down Zeroes instead.

This is an excellent choice, but looking at your list... it becomes obvious that this is probably your LT. If it's not this, it's the Interventor, but the Interventor is too aggressive a piece to risk in a faction with no Chain Of Command, meaning that your opponent will know exactly which model they want to kill to force you into Loss of Lieutenant.

I think this model can be a bit awkward to use in vanilla. In Bakunin, she's an excellent Fireteam filler, basically beefing up your main offensive group with a pet Doctor. In Vanilla, she just seems like too many points for what she does. A Daktari would be cheaper, you can just throw her on a roof that the enemy can't really get to and give here a couple Zondbots to get the same jobs done just as easily and for a lot fewer points.

Same issue as the Spektrs, this probably gimps you a little too much with orders elsewhere. A Clockmaker would probably do you a little better, and because you have D-Charges on the Prowler it allows you to easily (and safely!) set them off.

As for replacements: it probably depends on your model selection. Something that can tank a few hits would probably be a good idea, that you can bait your opponent into attacking that won't actually hurt your plans too much if you lose it. A Kriza, Taskmaster or Gecko would probably fit somewhere maybe?
