So... How do you guys use a spec ops when you have access to it? Was fiddling around with the options and I am seriously tempted to just have CoC sitting in the back of my zone. Is there anything else that is useful and that can be achieved with 12 xp?
Vanilla? CoC is nice and might surprise your opponent. Mimitism and a HMG (or Spitfire with +1 BS) for a cheap rambo is nice, too. Edit: Holo2 is nice, too, just to have two fake ARO pieces that make your opponent waste orders or to clear mines near your DZ.
The campaign book coming out soon is expected to update the Specops rules, so be aware that builds may change significantly.
