Uploading an avatar

Alright, maybe I'm having a case of stupids, but I can't seem to able to upload an avatar?

I go to my profile, I choose the file from my disk, I hit "Okay"... and nothing happens. Huh?

Is this some sort of forum trouble, or am I doing something wrong?

Ah, okay, I see where the problem is. Apparently, the forum doesn't support some JPG files, even thought it should..?

Uploaded files have a 2MB limit, you'll get an error if the file exceeds that.

Oh, the file I used on my first attempt was about 90 Kb :) And yet, the forum didn't process it. It only worked when I converted the file from JPG to PNG...
