Has anyone tried to make an unhackable list with DBS. I tend to see a lot of Interventors and find they have a field day against DBS. To the point I switched back to Haqq. Against other factions/hackers DBS has options, but against Vanilla Nomads I find I just can't cope. One Pitcher or repeater in the front makes it so a well defended interventor can cripple my links and mid field units. The repeater coverage becomes a weakness and our hackers are not strong enough to go toe to toe.

I know people are going to say use a Bashi or Saito to take it out. But its easier said than done.

DBS is a pretty solid choice for non-hackable armies in my opinion. You aren't relying on HI for your heavy hitters, and you can still have specialists in your fireteams without taking hackers. I've mostly been including hackers, but I don't think I'd be giving up too much if I left them at home.

The list above was basically everything that was non-hackable. There DBS options go from restricted to practically a single list.

You can also include Le Muet and a Brawler Haris, who add another strong attack piece besides the link team.

Personally I enjoy Remotes to much and how they integrate with the rest of DBS so it's not really something I would consider for myself.

How to deal with that level of hacker is something to consider with Uahu in Starco and Tunguska on the horizon, it's likely we will all be seeing more interventor level hacking. 2 of these guys could be a serious problem for a lot of DBS lists.

Dropping all hackable units might be a bit overkill in response though. If you take it on on your terms and not the Interventor's, then they die fairly easily. Saito is not the only option to do this in DBS, Hunzakuts are capable assassins with AP mines or Surprise attack. EM spec firing is about a 25% chance of removing one with full bonuses, also our area denial AROs should help limit where the Interventor is free to act (admittedly fast pandas and pitchers make this a challenge) and even though it is a potential vulnerability the Peacemaker is also strong to take one out before it gets repeaters going.

I don't mean to over simplify this though, a well played Interventor is a hard counter to some of Druze's strengths so giving it nothing to fight when you know you are going to face one is a valid strategy. I wouldn't do it at an ITS event though, I feel you'd give up too much in your other games.

There's enough variety left over that you can make a number of distinct lists, especially since DBS has such varied fireteam composition and so many loadouts for both Druze and Brawlers. As mentioned, you skipped the Brawler Haris, and that's something I have a hard time ever leaving home without, whether or not my army includes hackers.

You can also take a solo unlinked hacker to sit in your backfield if you're worried about facing SML lists and want a chance to swat missiles out of the air.
