Hi everybody, I was off the game for some time (like years) and a a little stuck in the N2. Also I was Bakunin player for many years. Now I want to start with Tunguska, and ask - what you suggest as a start for some universal litst. I'm big fan of Jelena, Mary Problems, Hollow Man, Pupets and Zondnautica. Here is my first attempt to make something playable. What do you think? What would you change? One of TJC's claims to fame is having many potential sources of burst 5 weaponry. It's not all that common to see more than one, but most lists should probably include at least one. In your case, I think you could replace Jelena with a HMG Securitate. Other than that, I'm not so keen on the Vertigo but that's a play style thing more than me saying it's bad. You have pitchers and 4 sources of Targeted state so it may work out for you. Other than that I do like your list choices, especially the Puppetactica. If you can free up the points, I think I'd try to make the Puppetmaster the Minelayer. It won't always keep him alive, but it does discourage some of the assassination runs and provides a measure of protection in the DZ for a marginal cost.
Thanks. I will think about that. What do you think about dropping Daktari? It will give some spare points for HMG or for Spitfire on Zondnaut... or even Red Fury Pupet instead of AP MR. I have some spare SWC to use. I took Jelena as a specialist and good Sensor option for Transductors Sniffers. I think it will help to save Puppetmaster and Securitate from IMP and CAMO.
Im not a big fan of docs so Im not the person with an unbiased opinion, but it depends on the mission(s) for me. I don't think they are necessary in most lists though.
Not taking the puppet redfury when you have so many swc left seems like a real waste. Don't forget they are remotes so you can give them MM L2, and a S1 B5 that shoots on 15 with 2W and yet expandable is scary.
no, you cannot give MML2 to puppets about how to free points, you might try to take out one securitate, jelena can enter the fireteam
Right, you can't, anyway, for 2pts and with 2 free SWCs it seems like a steal to me, they are great 1st turn strikers
New version. I Dropped Daktari for Medic Securitate and added mor Weapons. I had to take 2 cheapest Puppets, but it gives more units to mark targets for smart missiles. And now its 6 SWC. Lieutenant can be Securitate or Interventor. Most people will be hunting Interventor as a first choice. I'm thinking about Tsyklon. Maybe I should use something else. I need some good defence/2nd line attack unit or more cheap troops to ad more actions to 2nd group.
