I might consider changing around the groups. The Taqeul/Rasail needs orders but the Gao Rael/Sukeul ML triads probably wont.

I would make an order group of 10 and put the Sukeul/Gao Rael Kaeltar in the other group with a Clipsos ML. This way you can feed more active turn pieces. With transmission matrix hopefully you won't need to move the ARO triad and they're scoring. You'll need to move up eventually with others and hopefully Chaksa into scoring positions or trading up on pieces that may try to deny you.

Thank you my thoughts were that in List 1 Group 1 the Rasail usesy the orders and in group 2 the sukeul hmg and in the other lists its the taqueul in group 1 and the sukeul k1 using orders.
I played lots of limited insertion games these past months so have kind of a hard time to get a decent list done with 2 combat groups :(

Fair enough. My concern with separating my strike pieces into different groups is that it's harder to manage the inevitable loss of orders in a particular group. If orders are taken away from a group in which your attack piece is it becomes harder to fuel it later in the game.

I rarely find that my defensive triad uses many orders and 4-5 is generally enough to feed that in a game anyway. Having multiple attack pieces in a main combat group also gives you options should one strike piece not be in an optimal place you always have another that can be used.

I am not quite sure what you mean I got in both groups attack pieces (clipsos, taquel, k1 triad, hmg triad, rasail) and order pieces like the chaksas, kaauris, defensive triad. But yeah I will rework these lists

I would definitely rework your group organisation and put all attack pieces in one group while leaving support and ARO pieces in the other. That way it won't hurt that much when you get robbed of 2 orders if you go first.

But what will I do with the orders of the group that has no attack pieces? Loose the orders cause they can't do anything useful?

My thoughts exactly. It’s a good idea to have a support group and put your hacker there so setting up supportware won’t take orders away from your main group, or have a tag in the first and an engineer in the second, so when your tag goes down you still have some orders for your engineer to run there and repair it.

But apart from that it seems like a good idea to have some attack pieces in both groups, so you can not only use 10 orders but 14 or 16 efficiently.

If all your good attack pieces are in the same group, they take away orders from each other.

Exactly sure we Tohaa can use some command tokens to shuffle units around but having one group completly dedicated for attacking and the other for defending...I fail to see the point..

    This is my newest list:

One Kauri and one chaksa for each point on my side to defend them, defensive triad to annoy the hell out of them, two clipsos to start at the middle point, k1 kosuil to hunt HIs and TAGs and of course sukeul hmg to hunt aro pieces, not super happy with it but at least it got lots of orders

Repositioning and providing support. You don't win battles by just standing there not reacting to enemy movements.

There are always pieces in your list that will need a lot of orders (Rasail, your killy Triad, your specialists) and units that will need just some (ARO pieces, support troops), and that's why you need to separate them into different combat groups. You also need to understand that you don't and shan't use every unit in your list at least once a turn. There might be some dudes that will just stand there seemingly doing nothing, but they:
    1) provide orders
    2) deny an area
    3) distract your opponent

If you intend to activate every attack piece you got in your list, you're doing it wrong.

This. Ideally only one or two of your big hitters are being fueled per turn, with the rest being in a position to react and jump on opportunities next turn.

Thanks for explaining still isn't it better to have in both groups units that can use these orders? And units that probably won't use them so the others can use it?

You will have units that can use those orders in both groups anyway, yet you want to avoid that awkward scenario when one of those units runs out of orders because they are in a group that only provides 4 when you need 6. Also, coordinated orders require units to be in the same group, so if you intend to use them, think about your group composition in advance. Finally, you need troops for rebuilding your Triads to be in one group.

That said, I would consider swapping the Triads between your groups. ML Sukeul is a great ARO piece and Gao-Rael Sniper also doesn't need that much orders, but your HMG Sukeul definitely will.

Yes, forgot the HMG Sukeul was in Group 2.
Anyway, thanks to the Light Shotgun the ML Sukeul is also deadly in Close Quarters, I once whiped out the enemy list just with her moving and shooting every turn while getting closer and closer to the enemy.

actually most of the time the 6 orders are enough for me to kill the enemy aro pieces with the sukeul and when I want to bring my kosuil triad closer, i now swapped one kamael with the makaul from the sukeul triad to make it easier to get closer, I dislike using the sukeul ML in active turn cause the burst doesn't improve ;)

With how little is hackable in Tohaa, this is one of our best missions. We are very good at moving 30+ points to a new location in a couple orders, so even if you are going first, your Rasail, Chaksas, and Sukeul teams should be able to aggresively camp the antennas.

Remember that if the Rasail is your DataTracker, only the Rasail himself counts for the HVT kill, not the Chaksa.
