I'll be joining an escalation league at the start of the year and planning to run TJC. So far my collection is all unassembled in boxes and blisters. My plan is to hopefully build up enough units each week to play. Looking for suggestions on where to start TJC in the ITS escalation format.

Low level Escalation I'd probably focus on Securitate and REMs. The speed and low SWC of REMs is useful at low order counts.

I'd recommend Zondnautica for the same reason.

You are using hacking rules in round one?

No hacking or advanced rules for the first rounds.

That's still playable and will get your main REMs complete before you move onto your Fireteams. But an awful lot better with Hacking rules.

Something like this would be an alternative.

The other approach is work out what 300pt list you're building towards and work backwards.

I agree with your first points about working towards your 300 point goal, and getting some things in first like REMs... but isn't first round ITS escalation 120 points, and no LTs? Not trying to piggyback on this thread, but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something (as the lists you give are over points and include an LT).

I had to look it up now that you mentioned it.

Round 1 - 100 points no LT no advanced rules
Round 2 - 120 points no LT no advanced rules
Round 3 - 150 points no advanced rules
    Round 4 - 200 points
    Round 5 - 250 points and spec-ops
    Round 6 - 300 points and spec-ops

Think I would try this List. But it's very hard for Tunguska with such a low ammount of points.

Yeah, I forgot the official rules and only remembered my clubs version where first round is 125pts.

Just or the fun of it I'd go with this kind of list:
    Jurisdictional Command of Tunguska
    ──────────────────────────────────────────────────

    [IMG]5 [IMG]1
    HOLLOW MEN Spitfire, Chain-colt / Breaker Pistol, Knife. (2 | 36)
    SECURITATE Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 13)
SECURITATE Lieutenant Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 13)
    SECURITATE Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 13)
    CLOCKMAKER Combi Rifle, D-Charges / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 18)
    ZONDBOT Electric Pulse. (0 | 3)
WARCOR (Aerocam) Flash Pulse / Stun Pistol, Knife. (0 | 3)

    2 SWC | 99 Points

The Hollow Man might eat up all of the SWC but he's as fast as a remote, shoots quite well, etc. And he can't be hacked this time ;)

What would be a good expansion path to follow after the first rounds: Links, bikes, puppets, or TAG?

First, you should try to fill your Order pool to 10, therefore before round five you can't think about the TAG. Links save you allways orders and the bonuses are the cause to play a sectorial. Puppets are good for their 50 points if you can protect your Puppetmaster.

I took this list with me tonight for week 1 of the escalation league. My opponent was running JSA.

    Escalation 1
    ──────────────────────────────────────────────────

    HOLLOW MEN Spitfire, Chain-colt / Breaker Pistol, Knife. (2 | 36)
    SECURITATE Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 13)
    SECURITATE Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 13)
    SECURITATE Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 13)
    ZONDNAUT Boarding Shotgun / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 24)
[IMG] ZONDMATE Chain Rifle, Smoke Light Grenade Launcher / Electric Pulse. (5)

Going first I had the Zond lay smoke to block firing lane while the Hollowmen moved up. Killed Yo Jimbo with the spitfire and ended the round in SF. Zond got clipped by a crit and the Hollowmen tanked most of his cheerleaders until finally dropping. We ended in a tie with both sides having only two cheerleaders left.
