    Hi everybody

I have a problem: thorakitai are good and i like using them, but i don't like the minis. The SWC box is a bit better, but still, not really the style i like. I find them, how to say it ... i prefer the sleek look of myrms, i don't like the armor design the thoras have.

I use my myrmidons as thorakitai from times to times, but it's problematic when i want to play both myrms and thoras at the same time (which happens a lot, of course ...)

I was thinking of finding some other minis from other factions and either just paint them with the same style i have for my myrms, or perhaps with some conversions (for example, use the chandra sergent head on some other body - ho well, now i think of it, i could perhaps use myrms bodies and chandra head ?). Some suggestions anyone ?

    Druze?

They have MMR and HMG models available, the hacker makes a good engineer stand-in and the chain colt can work as an SMG.

The only thing really missing is the Feueueurerebach, but that's an uncommon weapon especially on line-style troopers.

I bought a box of Myrmidons and two boxes of chandra spec ops. Then I simply swapped the heads and the guys with different heads counted as Thoras. Paint them up differently and no-one will complain.

I had the idea too, do you have any image so that i can look at the result ?
Did you keep all myrm weapons or did you use some of the chandra ? For ex. the swords, thorakites have only knives and are not really CC proficient, so it may seems a bit weird.

Sorry for the low quality, that is the best I could do. (I am not good at taking photos.)
On the right Thoras, on the left Myrmidons. Different helmet: Thoras' helmet is rather bulky, Myrms' helmet is elongated.
The weapon loadout is mor or less OK because I field SMG Thoras and CR Myrmidons. Pretty easy to tell which is which.
Unfortunately no-one told me to pait them up differently, so they look pretty much the same colourwise. If I had the time I do not have, I would simply paint the Thoras dark brown something like a leather jacket.
