Theory crafting Dahshat's Big Three

    Hi there, mercenaries!

    I'm hyped to try out three attack vectors with this sectorial: Saito, McMurder and the linked Rui Shi. With that in mind I crafted this list (with no mission in mind, just a random "push a button, kill a guy" thing):

    Is this even playable?

    How do you feel about it? Haven't tried McM before, really. Do you give him all your orders? Is it better to fuel the Rui Shi link? Do I need more smoke?

    IDK, just wanted to share some hype and get some tips from more experienced players. The idea of dropping smoke with Saito and then shooting stuff down with the REM or letting McM loose gives me chills...

    That is 6 regular Orders that cannot do anything and are awfull at dodging.
    If your opponent has first turn, you will have trouble to hide all those 40mm + 55mm bases.
    If you lose one miniature of your core Link you are not able to bring the Link back to 5 as you have no backup.
    Obvious Lieutenant (but a good and resilient one)

    Well, there are 3 specialists in that group, I wouldn't say those order do nothing (even without McM).
    The huge ammount of REMs is just something that comes with the sectorial, I guess it's a weakness that you have to embrace at this point if you want a higher order count. They can't dodge, that's true, but we can do anything about it really.
    Having the Doctor + and the Dozer gives you viable options to bring back fallen pieces I think, I preffer that than having extra ABHs to reform the link (for the moment at least, I'll see what the playtesting shows).

    What would you do to improve the list? Do you have something in mind?

    The 6 regular orders are all your Fanous, Mull and Kameel REMs. I would either ignore those and try to shoot your attack pieces or get some AD in your deployment zone to kill those REM and perhaps 1-2 of your Hacker/Dozer/Doc to leave your attack pieces starved of orders. If you get Alpha Striked, you will have troubles to protect your REMs in the deployment zone, again leaving you order starved.

    All three attack pieces have to get to the enemy - up midfield - as they have just short range weapons (HMG Lt. will not profit from the Smoke Saito and McM provide). And your Ghulam Doc or Dozer will need to spend several orders to even get to the unconsciousness miniature under enemy fire. 1-2 Nasmat might be a solution: Small, fast, mimetism.

    You have just one specialist in midfield (hunzakut) to grab objectives. All other specialists will have to walk on their own or have to use command tokes to be faster.

    Imho there are too many expensive attack pieces (2 Zuyong, Saito and McM add up to nearly half of your avaible points) and too many REMs that just provide orders but are defenseless).

    I am not able to fit all Big Three in a decent list. This is a quick try:

    You have Valerya Gromoz and a spare Bounty Hunter to fill up both fireteams.

    The Zuyong Haris profile gives you fireteam core a special regular order via tactical awareness.

    Both Doc and Engineer have Nasmats for being in two places at once.

    The Libertos Minelayer, SMG Libertos and Hunzakut are there to discourage Rambos from breaking into your DZ.

    The Lt. Is quite obvious, but is staying behind and not moving upfield in the aggressive fireteam core.

    Valerya build a new core fireteam with the ghulams in case your RuiShi Fireteam is killed or you need specialists moving in for objective grabbing
