Woah, very pretty. I love the way you make the red look metallic.

Well done, sir. Being able to paint models like this takes some serious talent. Just don't take too long of a break - I definitely want to see more.

Ok i have struggled a lot with me but it was time to do it. I used GREEN. Its my nemesis color, but i must beat my fears. I have colorblindness with red and green and its hard to handle for me in mini painting.

And this time i wanted go my own method and colorscheme beyond the giraldez tutorials and techniques. The amor should reflect more, with tiny reflections, to simulate glossy surface.

Its still WIP, so here i am

It's looking amazing as always! In my case, the Nemesis color is Blue, which is why I stay as far away from PanO (and certain Marines of the Cosmical Variety) as possible. Not because I can't use it, but because I just don't like it for some reason

Are you glazing up dark, down from bright, or both directions from a middle color? Why do you do it this way vs. another way?

I started with a dark color, dark blue, and lighting it up softly with a brighter blue to build up the reflection till the brightest point. This way i can imagine the light source better and see in early stage if it looks natural. And i can decide to add another reflection next to the dark color. This creates contrasts. Glossy surfaces are full of ( hard) contrasts. I tried to avoid overuse white. So glazed it down with midtones, to have room for the extreme bright spots.

By the gods man! superb! If green is your nemesis, then you are truly putting the smack down on it. This figure is beautifully done (as are your others).

Your Yellow from the first mini posted is perfect ! I'm less a fan of your black: it might need more contrast (unless you want a more plastic feelling to keep the eye on the colorful parts ?) Anyway I'm dreaming to achieve something of that level someday, fantastic work !

What do you use as a basecoat ? grey with black ink ? You don't like white zénithal basecoating ?

@maru you mean master Savonarola lord of bondage, latex and minis ? :p
