Taking Spiral into Rescue / Quadrant Control / Firefight

    This weekend we've got a small event going on and I'll be using it as an excuse to play my first games with Spiral since the fireteam rules dropped. Lately I've just been getting massacred, so I'm hoping that Spiral's combination of deployment shenanigan's and defensive resiliency will make up for the fact I can't seem to push wounds through ARM0 in the open...

    The Kriigel is the key piece in this list and if I go second must be protected to ensure I Have smoke and white noise to allow for speedy maneuvering once I grab civilians. To that end, between the two fast moving and resilient Draal, and the three impersonators I believe I should be well suited to grab one or two on the first turn.

    Assignment of the symbiomates between the Draal and the Kuiitan will depend on terrain and initiative - if I'm going first and terrain allows it both the Kuiitan and Jain may recieve the mates and just YOLO themselves across the board, failing that the Draal swing from solid defensive pieces to great rescuers if need be...

    Firefight list is built almost exclusively around simply playing defensively. I'll probably trade the Mutan for two Surda for more cheap board control. The point of this list will be to keep my head own and make the enemy come to me.

    Both lists seem solid. Draal seem really useful for racing to the rescue. Impersonators are solid for just leaving in a quadrant in quadrant control.
