I’m tossing some ideas around for bringing an LI list to Hunting Party this week. It’s been a few months since I’ve played, so I’d like to talk it through.

The core is a Frontovik Core following a Vet Kazak. They all get a B2 ADHL with fireteam and have mimitism. The pair of tank hunters have b2 ADHL and camo, which also protects the LT. Then Pavel also has an ADHL, camo, mines, and can hit the antenna. They are a pretty strong base of hunters that should be able to do a lot of work. The vet Kazak also has the xvisor, which helps out starting in deployment zone with the ADHL.

Then I have two more models. I can either do a Ratnik with molotoks and a BSG scout or a vet Kazak hmg and spetsnaz BSG. Both serve very similar roles. The Ratnik and vet are both strong 2 wound models that can hold a flank. The BSG can surprise from a different direction and both hunt specialists/LT. Taking a second Vet Kazak might change up the core? But then again, the x-visor getting a B2 ADHL might be better for Hunting Party and then the HMG can be on its own.
    Any thoughts?

Well, I think I like the idea of the HMG Vet Kazak working on his own over the Ratnik. The Vet Kazak with mimitism and Sixth Sense just has so much going for him over the barebones Ratnik. He's also a bit consistently longer ranged, so he may serve as a useful deterrent for things that don't need glued. Then I have a parachutist that can come in when I need it and maybe run down a flank or get behind the LT.

I think your right here with the HMG Vet. He outranges the Ratnik, and he has SSL2 and mimetism to help keep him alive, and as an additional bonus, he is not hackable like Ratnik.
