    I used to do a lot of conversions when I was playing wh40 but getting some conversions done in Infinity is harder because the lack of bits. Nevertheless I'm planing reshaping my Tohaa force as a fun project into Sygmaa Trihedron army. First of all I'll have a chance to convert some of the miniatures. Also, I'll be also able to maintain higher number of newer models in the army as adding models that I like to my collection.

    So far I was thinking about something like this:

    Tohaa diplomatic delagates => CA Pneumarch
    Gao-Rael => Maakrep
    Gao-Tarsos => Fraacta
    Sakiels => wingless Fraactas with Gao-Tarsos heads
    Calipsos => Bit conversion
    Igao => Umbra lagate / Oznat with Fraacta head
    Kamaels => Makaul bodies with Maakrep head (no horns?)
    Makauls => Makaul bodies with Nikoul heads
    Kaeltar specialist => Horn swaps
    Symbiomates => CA Tintbots A & D
    Chaksas => Unidrones
    Kaurii => Staldron (might be trick to get the model) or unidron headswap
    Gorgos => Overdrone

    And that's it so far. At this point I'm gathering bits to make some resin casts and I'd like to start assembling and converting everything around of July.
    I don't have to convert all the models but I'd appreciate additional suggestions or ideas.

    I would do Kaauri as a Unidrons, and Chaksas as Hungries (for G: Sync) or Ikadrons (for Auxiliars). You could also do Nexus as Chaksas, since they are essentially the same body dolly.

    You could also do Unidrons as Sakiels, Slave Drones as Kaauri, C-Drones as Symbiobeasts, etc. Fraacta with her wings off would make a great Kotail or Kerail.

    I would do Gorgos as Gorgos. He's the correct size (unlike Overdron) and reflective of the bitter fractured Sygmaa loners. The Avatar would also work, and is suitably alive-looking.

    Edit: sorry for the corrections, the forum doesn't understand G-Board from my phone very well.

    Thank you for the suggestions. I'd like to avoid using old sculpts in my army especially from CA but the idea of using slave drones as Kaauri is great. Nexus would be nice replacement for Chaksas but sadly there is only one sculpt so far. Unidrones will give me a bit more variety and I need at least 3 Chaksas in the army.

    Also I wasn't aware Overdrone is smaller (he is depicted as a giant construct in the art) so thanks for pointing that out. It's true that Fraactas would probably make better Kotails so maybe I should consider Rasails as a base for Sakiels conversions. Now I have few things to reconsider.

    For Chaksa with HFT you could use IKADRON BATDROIDS, double LFT = HFT
    Kaurii should only be repainted, the dsign fits well with Sygmaa Trihedron.

    PS: I had the same idea like you, but not the time and patience for it

    Edit: For Symbiomates i bought an old doublepack Slavedrones

    @Usashi Sounds like quite the project. As someone who loves conversions and the work that goes into making them I hope you bring this idea of yours to life.
    I think your conversion plans are all nicely thought out. I also second @Ben Kenobi 's idea of using Ikadrons for Chaska Flamethrowers. Seems like a natural fit to me. @Magonus ' idea of using a Nexus as a Chaska can turn out well but your point of using Unidrons is well founded. The new Avatar comes with a pilot that would be the Chaska of the Gorgos and then you can buy the Grogos pilot for the Avatar's pilot. Combined Drones are great models in my opinion and using them as the Symbiobeasts is a good way to include them into your force.

    Cheers, thanks for the suggestion s guys.

    Sadly, as I've mentioned before I try not to use older miniatures (I swapped most of the old figures in my YJ and JSA) so even though Ikadrons are probably better suited to count as Chaksas, they are no-go. Still if CB resculpt them in the not too distant future, then why not ;)

    The drones are not bad but I still prefer Symbiobeasts. Trihedron units are depicted in the fluff than more violent and hateful than regular Tohaa, so having a "feral" looking beasts in the army is a better choice in my opinion. Besides both Fractaa and Maakrep have similar looking horns as Mutan symbiobeast so they can all pose for a nice family picture ;)

    @Ben Kenobi I still prefer CA tinbots as symbiomates. They look as cute as original pokemons but are a bit meaner and even have shields to protect all those important symbioramour guys.

    @Golem2God Good idea about using Staldrone as chaksa peripheral. Still Gorgos is not at the top of to do list but I'll get is one day.

    Also the project is progressing so fear not, I'll show my conversions at some point ;)
