    just had a match of luna (defender) vs moonchild dog warrior (the attacker)
    moonchild uses tesium tommahawk and gets a :1: within its rolls
    luna has :3::3:in her rolls
    we both activate our switches what exactly happens as we both aim to consume moonchild's :1:?

    That's not correct. After rolling (and maybe rerolling) the dice, the Player who declared the Attack chooses which Character should activate its Switches first; after this Character has activated every Switch wanted (and able to pay), the other Character has its turn for Switches

    So, in your case, we'd need to know whether Moonchild or Major Lunah goes first

    Just to be 100% clear for anyone who comes into this thread in the future, and as @Damiel explained, as the attacker (and therefore the Active Aristo) Moonchild gets to select who will activate switches first.

    This is a specific exception to the general rule that the Underdog will make such choices in order.

    In this case Moonchild will want to activate Switches first, and use her :1: to cancel as many :1: rolled by Lunah as she can, before Lunah has the chance to cancel :1: with her :3::3:. However it's quite likely that both are going to be taking some damage here! Obviously Moonchild hasn't transformed yet (otherwise Lunah couldn't use Switches at all) so it seems very likely that Lunah is going to be visiting the infirmary and Moonchild will soon be switching from Dogface to Dogwarrior!
