In my opinion, the most important aspect of list building is knowing what game missions it is developed for. What are the purposes of each of the list? Are they built for Fightfight? Acquisition? Supplies? Highly Classified? Knowing the missions will let us know if you have the tools you need.

The next thing that would help us is to know a general sketch on how you plan to play the list. We can infer, but it can be very helpful if you provide some guidance on you thought process when you developed each list.

Generally, I like List 2 much more than list one as for me it is easier to visualize how it would be used. It has enough orders to power the Fidays, a solid ARO link team, and can create a good hacking network. For List 1, I do not fully understand how group 1 is supposed to work. I could see dropping a Fiday or Yasbir for more order generators, but I am unsure that would fit how you conceive group 1 working.

I hope that this is helpful.

To start I'd say, that almost any list can be good or interesting, depending on how it will be used. That's why I'm not a fan of disscussing Infinity army lists online. I usually have very different lists than my fellow Haqq player but still we both have good results. Many things depends on the style of play and definitely on the missions - in this I agree with @Brokenwolf.

So - looking from my perspective, and being honest - I don't like any of your lists ;)
They don't look good for me - and it can be just my subjective opinion and different style of play. For example I would definitely loose Yasbir to take Farzan and upgrade one of the Fidays to Djabel. Now they look like shooters, because with AP CCW they're not some great CC killers. And they're not the best shooters. I highly prefer Djabel because he can kill enemies dead with CC and shot them better with BS.
Plus I'm not sure if you want to use some ARO in your lists - because I don't see any unit that can try to fight on some longer distances for example. You have some nice deployment zone defenders, like Muttawiah and Minelayers, but nothing more. Is your plan to hide everything in reactive turn? Hiding 17 units can be tricky - and makes the game bit boring ;) For me using only 2/2,5 SWC is weird, when you have so many interesting units to use. And for most players Yasbir isn't any good. I used him a bit and he did some good job, but definitely he is not the best way to use his points - not the best specialist, not the best fighter...

Thank you @Brokenwolf and @KedzioR_vo for the feedback. I do agree that a list is dictated by the mission that you are preparing for. I will also be honest that I was building those lists late last night on a whim.

A background of my play style, I do tend to play spammy Caledonia lists (20-25 orders) with plenty of smoke but lacking SWC. I do like having enough orders to actually do what I plan out even th. Hassassin brings a couple of toys that I am not used to such as Holoecho, actually good doctors, and AD/Impersonation. These lists were me trying to add tricks that I haven't used before.

I'am a little too late :P I disagree with the SWC perception of @KedzioR_vo , "hassasin" is the kind of armies which can affort not to go to into the max SWC and yet be "good", but I think too talk about lists isn't easy in Infinity. They are too many factos. Still, we can get some idees from others.

I found the second list far better than the first one. I'am a player who thinks Yasbir (infiltrator) is a good choice to include when playing 2 fiday, because one of the main problems for our "impersonators" are mines, crazy-koalas and madtraps, but our beloved "muyib character", thanks his holoechos can clean the field for the "fiday attack", but I really don't like the non infiltrator option, is too expensive. Probably I will choose Leila as the five member fireteam. You could use the extra points to change the ghulam with repeater+emauler for another one with ML, snipper or HMG and you could place a second barid.

Still I'am more a player of a "one group" + "second muttawih'a group" and play muyibs+asawiras+fiday. Here we had some of the more "flexible" list you can build with hassasin.

    @PistolsFiring

For an example, this is a link to @Jonno 's Cancon battle report. In it, he shows the general plan he has for each list. I find that is helpful when list building.

    https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threa...t-power-or-how-to-win-without-big-guns.27154/

Others go through a checklist when list building. For example:
    • Have at least two high burst pieces?
    • Have Objective takers?
    • Have Dedicated AROs?
    • Attack pieces?
    • Have enough orders to fuel the Dedicated attackers?
Looking list 2, for me you check most of the boxes and is fine. For my personal preference, I would recommend freeing some points for some HMGs or spitfire. While Haqq is not great a brute forcing, sometimes they can be help.

Yeah, i don't like your lists too, it seems that you are going for CHA inside HB, would be better if you explain your thoughts during list building.

That said, lets think about you choices.

    List 1 -

For start, i like to have at least 1 group with 10 orders and a second group to pump new orders after casualites, but i have seem some good players working really well spliting orders.

2 Fidays with only 6 orders will starve, Fidays have primarily 2 jobs, kill the weaklings and annoy your oponnent.

Kill weaklings is easy, you point to someone with a poor deploy easy to kill and send the FIday, usually line troopers and specialists, this require a good amount of orders like 4-5.
Be annoying is not hard, but requires more thinking, like deploy one Fiday near some place that you don't want your opponent nearby, let them expend orders trying to kill your Fiday and hold reactions for the right moment, be pacient with the FIday during your turn and expend orders somewhere else...

On top of that, there's Yasbir, he's a ugly ducking, jack of all trades master of none that eats orders even more than Fidays.

Your ghulam link doesnt makes sense, you got your Lt inside it so you don't want to run midfield, but you need to go there so you can deploy the repeater and do some classifield/mission with your medic.

Your group 2 is in the right path, but 2 muyib minelayers is a bit much, perhaps change one for a specialist and with it a ride.

    List 2-

Much better, IMO, than list 1, but probably i would kick Yasbir put leila on group 1 and change the Muyibs for Farzans instead, they're better minelayers and cheaper too, maybe some Daylamis with paunzerfausts and inferior inflitration to help your Fidays.
